Snowman's Land

This is my latest level, u are placed in a wintery world with lots of snowman (as u can tell by the title)

u find out that flame bots are melting snowmen and u have to stop them.
I put some humer in the level and tryed to make it kind of like a old crash bandiccot level.
anyway try it out and tell me what u thing and if u like that style of level,
And yes... there is a boss fight at the end.

Hehe that was pretty cute and fun.

I loved the part where I had to save those snowmen Great idea!

But you might want to fix those elevator sequneces. I found my self falling off the top layer over and over again, having to do the same puzzle again and again. Maybe add a bit more checkpoints? Also.... the boss was interesting with all those phases, but when I died, I could just wait ontop of the bosses head, you might want to fix that too. You should also connect an audio object to the 2-way switch so people know if they activated something or not.

Hey Phantom,

I just played Snowman's Land with a three player party and we had a great time. I like the consistent theme and the constantly spawning enemies is something I don't see too often in LBP.

Likes:

Scenary, characters, etc.
Enemies and action.
Multiplayer friendly.
Boss was wicked cool.


Suggestions:

In the 2X player area: I would make this door open permanently rather than toggle. We managed to trap 2 out of 3 players in that little room and they had to reset.
Also in the 2X area: When trying to grab the red ball that lifts you up to the switch: The material surrounding the ball is also grab-able and its annoying to keep missing the ball b/c of this. I would change that to a non grab-able material so that the sack-person automatically grabs the ball.
Checkpoints: with multiple players if one person dies they often spawn three or four levels beneath you. I recommend adding smoke to your level to prevent players from falling to previously completed areas.
At the Boss: The boss is great i loved it, but it was a little unclear how to defeat him at first.


Dude great level I thought that the health gauge at the boss was particularly clever.
