| So about a week ago I decided that I wanted to make some music with the music sounds, and figured that one of the songs from the game would be appropriate. I decided to use magnetic keys on blocks, driven by vertical pistons. I know that a spinning wheel system is much easier, but basically I wanted to challenge myself and see if I could do it. 18933 Here's the whole unit. First four are drums. I used a simpler drum beat than that of the actual track. The next lot of four is bass. Even though there's only two bass notes, I used two more and added a fifth to each note, because bass power chords are awesome. Next lot is piano, and was rather more complex. 18931 75% of this was trial and error, I had to use more levels of pistons because the notes do not fit simply into a 1-2-3-4 pattern like the drums do. The pistons push and pull at set intervals in order to get the right rhythm. 18932 Switches and keys. And Sackboy, aw. Default Sackboy is the cutest thing ever. Obviously you kinda need to hear this in order to know how well it worked. The level is called Song 2: An Exercise in Logic, and my PSN is Sclera.
