woah! thats pretty cool! i would rather wait till the 21 then probably pay 120 for a copy of the game a little early, also by the time the auctions over the beta will be down, and they will turn of the online for it most likely

I was content to wait for the 21st. Then the beta came out, and I went crazy trying to get a key. Then I got my beta fix, and was again content to wait. AND NOW. I guess I'll be making a lot of calls tomorrow. by the way, are the Gamespot preorders all in the one code? I might not be buying it from there, but I already have the code for Kratos. Thanks for the info.

Really, the only thing they'll be getting out of it is about a week head-start on the story mode. And there may be some feature within that still disabled, such as trophies, perhaps? Servers, definitely. And I guess some creation head-start... And shipping increases the cost and the time until the guy gets it. So...not the best decision there. I guess you can always go back and say, "I got LittleBigPlanet before anyone else did!", but then the beta testers can go in and pretty much rock that.

I saw that on the Sony forums and called about 5 local Targets. No luck here. Waiting will have to do. I can't remember the last time I really cared about a game as much as this, thanks MM for corrupting my brain with your subliminal messages transmitted during the beta. I mean seriously, I woke up last night in the middle of the night with the theme song in my head. It's gotten pretty sad.

What do you guys say when you ask about it..? Pretty much just acting ignorant. You know, like a casual fan. "Can you tell me if you have a certain game in for the PS3" "Sure! What game?" "Little Big Planet" "Not until the 21st" or "No, but we're taking pre-orders." Listen to this. I called Gamestop to ask if they planned on a midnight release for the game and the guy said "Oh, no. This game isn't big enough" Seriously, I got so offended as if I created the frickin' thing. Doesn't selling systems bundled with the game constitute "Big"? Not announced for the US yet but you know it's just a matter of time.
