I need help with emitters

Uhhh can someone help with emitters, i have a bunch of problems with them, anyone mind telling me how to activate it for the remainder of the level without having it being stopped? Oh yeah, can you help with the switch stuff too? Thnks2010-07-06 23:20:00

Emmiters are funny things. In my opinion, once you get really good at using emitters (and emitting mag switches/keys to set off events and such) you are really getting a good handle on LBP. It takes a long time to understand exactly what you are capable of with the combination of tools.

I remember back when I started using emitters on PS3 and I thought that they weren't very dependable because they didn't work like I was expecting. After messing with them and getting a much better handle on them I realized that they are 100% dependable, and if something is going wrong then it is always my fault for placing something in the way of the space where it should emit or for having a setting wrong.

Though it would be nice to have someone explain everything about an emitter, you really need to just play with them yourself to understand all the wonderful magic that can be done with them. I would highly advise playing with them a lot and experimenting with all the different settings :-)

I completely agree with amazingflyingpoo there. I didn't really think that emmiters would be all that usefull until...I guess after I really started creating my level. Then I would just keep going to blank levels and testing all sorts of different things out to see how they worked and things of that sort. So I got much better at using them. I guess it just takes some practice if ya know what I'm sayin. 2010-07-09 03:58:00
