You should ask the tatto'r to make a custom design so its unieke. | 2010-07-05 17:51:00 Author: Smelling-Cowboy Posts: 668 |
Smelling is right, tattoos are a special thing, that should bear a special meaning. Don't get something that others already have. It's your body, not theirs. | 2010-07-05 19:28:00 Author: OmegaSlayer Posts: 5112 |
Yea I'm with Omega on this one. lol btw you just stole somebody' picture XD | 2010-07-05 19:49:00 Author: Chump Posts: 1712 |
(Its Tattoo btw, not tatto. ) Anywho, i wouldn't reccomend it, don't get something from someone you like on a whim, i don't know if you know this, but tattoos do last for the rest of your life (inless you have to money to pay for and willing to stand a painful and annoying laser removal surgery) so getting something on a whim or of someone you liked while young is very very bad, you WILL regret it later on in your life and ak yourself why in the world did you get that tattoo... So yeah, think it VERY carefully before getting a tattoo. | 2010-07-05 20:03:00 Author: Silverleon Posts: 6707 |

Definitely with the other guys on this one. You should get something unique and tailored to you. This is his tattoo, why do you want it? I am unsure on your motives whether your a big fan or just like the design but tattoos are fairly permanent unless you want to go though painful removal surgery. But yeah you should get something that is timeless if you absolutely must, you might not like Eminem x years down the line, who knows? People will ask what is the tattoo about etc and with this the response would be "erm it's because Eminem had it". Not very interesting is it? There should be a story behind every tattoo in a perfect world. I just hate seeing pointless tattoos on people. I don't personally have any tattoos, but I really admire a good one. Maybe one day I might cave and get one but I know I wouldn't dare unless I had a good reason, a memory perhaps. Something worth leaving a note on your body for. | 2010-07-05 20:17:00 Author: OneEyedBanshee Posts: 1370 |
I always wanted a tattoo but still I haven't found a reason. Somewhere where the others wouldn't see and wouldn't ask. Something just for me, something that I know it's there. I missed the chance to get a tattoo when my gramps died. I really admired him as a man, and wanted to have something perpetually inked on my body to remember him, and now after years it's pointless, and my heart has my gramps memory written on it for forever. So, think about a tattoo as something for you, not for others. | 2010-07-05 21:00:00 Author: OmegaSlayer Posts: 5112 |
i kind of have 2 meaning for this tattoo number 1: i am a massive eminem fan and for me having that tattoo will make me always think for him and his music when he has stoped music or has died becuase he is my idol and i would love to keep the legend living on number 2: i will have it on my wrigt* wrist becuase i call it my throttle wrist becuase i do motocross and love motobikes and if there are any motocross riders they will know what im talking about and i also love the trilbal desigen | 2010-07-05 21:16:00 Author: howMUCHforBOUNTY Posts: 623 |
I'm a tattoo-a-phobe. I'd just use one of those "press with a wet cloth" tattoos... But if you're getting one, go unique. | 2010-07-05 21:17:00 Author: piggabling Posts: 2979 |
We give out these cute anthropomorphic ice cream tattoos to the little kids where I work. I think you should get one of those. It's kinda like being in a super special gang, for a day. | 2010-07-05 21:23:00 Author: monstahr Posts: 1361 |

What you see about artists is what they want to show you, not their real self, no matter how much they want try to convince you. Anyway, don't listen to us and go for it if you're 100% sure. If you're even 99,9999% unsure, and man, you are, or you won't have opened a thread, STOP IT and don't do it. | 2010-07-05 21:24:00 Author: OmegaSlayer Posts: 5112 |
i will have it on my wrigt* wrist becuase i call it my throttle wrist becuase i do motocross and love motobikes and if there are any motocross riders they will know what im talking about U know that u cant ride on your motor then for some time! And NEVER take a tattoo because of your idol because 15 years later u dont like it anymore! (im pretty sure about that). EDIT: And i support what omega said | 2010-07-05 21:27:00 Author: Smelling-Cowboy Posts: 668 |
I'm with smelling and Omega, get a unique one that reminds you of of eminem but is also unique | 2010-07-05 21:41:00 Author: Kern Posts: 5078 |
I'd listen to the others. If there's one thing I learned from watching my friends get tattoos is that you never, EVER, get a tattoo that you you'll regret getting in the future. Example: Your girlfriend's/boyfriend's name. BAD IDEA. If you break up with him/her, you are forever going to bare that name. Let's see you get a new date with that. | 2010-07-05 23:36:00 Author: CyberSora Posts: 5551 |

If you're even 99,9999% unsure, and man, you are, or you won't have opened a thread, STOP IT and don't do it. Out of everything posted on this thread, I agree with this most of all. If you have ANY hesitations whatsoever then you shouldn't get it. Tattoos should be the kind of thing you KNOW you want to do regardless of what anyone else says. Gotta weigh in everything.. how much it means to you? If you're sure you'd want it in the area? (Keep in mind having visible tattoos makes it harder to get a job. (and the wrist is very visible) How is it gonna look when you get older? You're not always gonna be a teenager or in your early 20s or however old you are now, someday you'll be 40. 50. 60. Etc., would you still want some tribal crap on you then? And other than that, a few of my cents that might offend people and I don't care lalalalala : 1) Tribal crap. Everyone gets tribal crap. Yeah they look cool and all, but is it really so meaningful as to brand it on yourself for the world to see, forever? 2) Eminem is not Eminem, just his albums and products are. I'm a huge fan of lots of products but I'm not branding myself in their honor. But to be honest, that doesn't matter. Like I said, if you're ever sure and ready to get it then it doesn't matter what anyone's opinion is. Just gotta make sure it has the right meaning to you to brand on yourself permanently. | 2010-07-07 14:41:00 Author: Foofles Posts: 2278 |
Then you simply date the people that have that name How dramatic! You can still date anyone and ask them kindly if you can call them with another name | 2010-07-07 15:05:00 Author: OmegaSlayer Posts: 5112 |
How dramatic! You can still date anyone and ask them kindly if you can call them with another name I do that all the time. As a result, I get a FREE slap-shaped tattoo everytime I do so. | 2010-07-07 15:39:00 Author: Keldur Posts: 628 |
Just to chip in here with my POV. I have 2 tattoos. One Japanese charater I got when I was 16, and one I designed myself when I was in art college. I was thought I was 100% when I was getting both of mine. Now if I had the option to remove them I would. I mean, Their not gastly or anything, their quite small and out of the way but like anything you get bored of something after a long enough time. I dont hate them and I had fun with them at the time (trying to impress the ladies whenever possible ) but now its all a bit "meh whatever". I'd just like my clean natural skin back. Just a thought to put out there. | 2010-07-07 15:55:00 Author: wexfordian Posts: 1904 |
