Take a stroll through the deep dark wood but be careful of the creatures lurking around. Based on 'The Gruffalo' by 'Julia Donaldson'.
This level is my entry to the SMRC contest for the crown, it is based on the children's classic 'The Gruffalo'. I spent alot of time on this, you can get around 4000 points in the whole level (there are alot of secrets). The main thing I like about this level is the interactivity with it (try shooting the fox in the back with a paintinator etc).

P.S: Some characters like the Owl and the Gruffalo blink, check it out (I love this, it was a last second choice and makes the level feel alive).

It sounds like you've put a lot of thought into that, So I'll check it out soon! Well... I'm actually working on a project with some friends at the moment, but maybe when I have more than enough time on LBP, I'll play it!

Oh and at the end of the level you might want to remove the jetpack at the scoreboard, I was playing two player and both of us weren't at the scoreboard so I took the jetpack and flew out of the area. 4/5 Stars		2010-07-14 09:34:00

You don't really have to (but if you want you can) all I added was some cracks on certain rock objects and made the plasma shoot a second faster out of the Gruffalo's hand. And fix that glitch (try go up there now, there is an easter egg)		2010-07-14 18:03:00

Oh thanks, and I don't know what to do with the boss because some people are saying its too easy but then their are people like you who complain about it being too hard, I think its about player skill. So I think I'm gonna keep it like that.

This was a really good level, i am glad i came across it. The graphics were relaxing and the story was accurate. The boss was just right for me, i like a challenge but it is way too hard for younger players . :star::star::star::star::star: <3 Its my sisters favorite book shes going to love playing it tomorrow, i will give you her verdict tomorrow

If your a fan of The Gruffalo or you have a little sibling that likes it. I recently came across a short film about it on Hulu I believe. It wasn't bad.

I'll check out this lvl soon. But not to be a butt, but (4 buts) looking at those pics, the character drawings didn't look so good. Like the owl's head is too high. If you had the actual book, maybe you can copy it straight out the book. (art) I REALLY don't want to sound like an a** but I couldn't have been the only one that noticed it.		2010-12-23 12:51:00
