Triathlon TroubleMaboe84 Have fun and become the king of the road! Hi everyone! I just can`t wait to publish my entry for the Vehicle Triathlon Competition. So here it is! The Idea behind it is that you drive/race though different paintings (in white frames, a little bit like a comic book). So every race has a different feeling/style. Just try it out and tell me what you think. Here are some screenshots (in low quality as always)

Played it and loved it I'll give you my performance on each one, aswell as a rating for each of the races. Race 1: Performance: 1st place. Rating: Five stars Quality start, really clever mechanic and it worked really nicely. I enjoyed every second of it, and think I performed pretty well too. The visuals were good, whilst not too distracting. Race 2: Performance: Last Rating: 3 stars The idea was nice, but I found it difficult to climb the hills and ended up ditching the car completely (hence me comng last!) I was poor, but with some more time I'm sure I culd have mastered it. Just a tad difficult, visually superb and the car thing never broke either. Race 3: Performance: 1st Rating: Four stars Clever idea, and it would have been 5 stars if I had more control over the car. However it was still excellent and the car felt very stable. The track was well designed and just generally great fun. Overall I gave the whole level 5 stars and a juicy heart for the platforming and racing combined together. Fantastic level and I can't wait for more from you

Time for the feedback Arrestor. Each race was unique and so were the characters. The first race did not impress me at all. I became bored from the first race. Same thing in a circle. At least it wasn't as boring as that 6 lap race on "Short Circuit" in Turbo! pack. The snail character was cool by the way. The boat in the sky was a nice touch to the level. Leding on to the second race. My first time playing this race, I had no problem at all. Then I played the level once more and I started to struggle the uphills. I guess it depends what location of the car you hold R in. Anyways, I didn't mind, it was okay. The illusion type of room was very, very good. I thought this would make up for race 1. Then I saw race 3, and wooooow!!!! I thought I was playing LBP 2 (PS3) for a seacond. I was very impressed. I can figure how it works, but thats not the case. The stickers were outstanding and the race was ridiculous. (In the good way.) I have no more to say now. I will go straight to your rating now. Length: 5/5 (This lasted long and the ending was great) Material Usage: 5/5 (Gives ax pleasing feel to the level) Sticker Work: 5/5 (Very, very decorative on the last track) Corner Editing: 5/5 (Nicely done) Terrain/Mechanics: 5/5 (Very absorved to the eye) Story: N/A (Not really a story) Total: 25/25 Perfect Score! Hey Arrestor! I'd usually just leave you a tale of wonders to read, but the others beat me to the story highlights already. So instead of that material, I'm just going to post a sweet and simple "The Good, The Bad, and _______". The Good Awesome races. My favorite was #3. The Bad Sadly, #2 was a bad version of the Monster Truck race in my opinion. Vengeance! I shall not let this go you hear me! I shall claim that highscore VelcroJonze! Great level Arrestor! Really nice triathlon level and very fun vehicles. The first race was great - I had a lot of fun with timing the gates and trying to get through as quickly as possible without "crashing". The sled in the sky broke on me once and got wedged in the entrance so I had to restart, but no problems after that. The second race was good - I especially like the vehicle. It's solidly built but it was way too hard to get it up the hills. Once I finally managed to get out I actually completed the second race. The third race is amazing! My favorite part of the level by far, right behind your snail character. Awesome stuff Arrestor and it's great to have you back. 5 stars and a heart!

Velcro has the highscore? So wheres the feedback?! Sorry my friend, I ended up going on a day at the lake for the 4th at the last minute. I played this and loved it. I always knew you were one of the best creators and this level solidifies that to me even more. I always enjoy your level designs and platforming, but this was mainly vehicular so I was very interested in playing this when I learned you were making a level for the contest. The first race was cool. I thought the hovercraft worked very well and looked very cool too. I loved the second race. That car was soo cool. I know some people said they couldn't get the hang of it but it felt great to me. I loved how it handled and I had a few 'Oh Snap moments, like when the bridge busted, and when I popped a wheelie all the way down a hill. My strategy was to stay as far to the front as possible. When the car flipped over I would always try and get back to the front. I loved it!! The last race was very cool too. I really dug the top down view. Reminded me of the old driving games from my NES days. The platforming sections were great too. I loved the part where you platform over all the thin sections. That part was just very cool because of it's originality and it's look. I had so much fun playing this. Of course I gave you five stars and a heart. <3 Good luck in the contest too!!

Hey! This level was great! You had many unique races that I never thought that I would find in the level. The first race was great! The first time I played through the level, I didn't completely understand how it worked, but about halfway through the race, I completely understood. Nice job with that! The second race, I thought was pretty unique! The first time through I actually did end up ditching the car and running to the finish cause I got stuck on one of the hills. But the second time I played through your level, I realized that on the way up the hills I had to keep moving myself to the front of the car. It was great cause it had a little bit of a puzzle element to it! Great job with that! The third race, I'm not really sure if I was actually controlling the car or not. I'm pretty sure that if I had let go of the analog nub that I would have kept going around and around the track on my own. Still, it was great fun! So this was an amazing level! Good luck in the contest! I gave you five stars :star::star::star::star::star: and a heart <3! Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the feedback and the kind words everyone! Just a few notes: The first race is all about timing. The second race is intentionally hard. The third race is fully controleable. If you let go of R you wont go any further (only if you are on the right side of the track and going down).

Hi, Arrestor! WOW. You create wonderfull racing level. I love all 3 your vehicles. First one is something fantastic, second one is very fun and third looks like some part of LBP2. And there are many small cool places in your level with fantastic design. My respect for your work! I gave you 5 stars and heart for this level.

I played it a few days ago and finally got time to give you some feedback First off,the snail was awesome! Nice sticker use! At first I was kinda lost with the 1st race but I got the hang of it eventually then breezed through it. The ship on the clouds part was nice,also. The 2nd race was nice until the hill part,like most I left it and ran to the finish.I guess it was all in the grab That one part before the 3rd race(Don't know what else to call it) was cool too. Then it got to the 3rd race It was awesome!Even though it's kinda a ripoff of the race in the Turbo pack,I still like your race better :star::star::star::star::star:&<3 I think I gave it a heart.... Oh and good luck!

Hiya- I had a lot of fun playing this, I loved the snail character, he was cute. The first race was my favorite, I had a lot of control of the vehicle, and it looked very nice. The second race had my favorite visuals of the three, but I felt the mechanic was pretty boring, I was tempted to ditch the vehicle, but I eventually managed to get the hang of it. The third was a very, very cool idea, and being able to hear all of the racecar sounds really brought me in to the race, but I would have liked to have more control over the vehicle. But overall, this is a fantastically built level, good luck in the competition, you have a wheely () good chance of winning the competition. I rated the level :star::star::star::star::star: and <3ed the level.
