Puzzle Wheels - Platforming in a mind-bending environement. There are 3 Wheels to complete, but only those who complete the 4th Wheel can claim the Puzzle Wheel Master title.
Hello all,

These levels are some of my proudest creations.

When I make a LBP level, I try to incorporate at least one thing that I believe is original.

My Puzzle Wheels levels started at as a large obstacle in a series, which crashed. I was incredibly upset about it. I ended up discarding the series, and making an entire level devoted to the really cool obstacles I had created.

The first level - "Puzzle Wheels - May Cause Motion Sickness", is basically, the obstactles recreated, with the storyline.

In "Puzzle Wheels II - Wheels Gone Wild", I decided to make it more action oriented. It is a challenging level, to be sure.

I ended the series with a "Puzzle Wheel Survival Challenge - Hangin' Around". Again, I think it is very unique, but I have seen some people think it was not very good - until they actually paid attention to the directions and played it like it should be.

I'm not the best creator, but I do try and make up for that with putting some unique (either visually, or in gameplay).

Obviously, it's not for me to decide if I achieved that, but either way, I'm proud of the final product. I hope you all enjoy them.

This looks amazing. It looks so vibrant and challenging. I'll give all three a go the next time I get on LBP which should be later today. 2010-07-04 19:09:00

Haha, well, seriously, you might get a little motion sickness if you play them all back to back. Remember, YOU are inside the wheel as it's turning while solving puzzles, avoiding obstacles, or finding your way through mazes. And, the two regular levels are not only challenging, but can take quite a while to complete since some wheels are quite immense.

So, I won't be offended if you find you can not complete all 3 levels in one day.

Either way, thank you for your time and consideration.

Hey, actually I just finished the two main levels and tried the survival challenge. First of all, they were both great. All of the wheels were unique and very fun and challenging. I'm very happy I got to be puzzle master for the first and so I tried the second. The second one was awesome as well with unique wheels. I did get a little frustrated with the power wheel because it took a long time to get it it the hole to continue but I finally did. Also, at the end of the second one I got out of the wheel and slid on the glass and then I impacted so hard in the next glass slide, I went through it and ended up at the place where you have the choice to do the wheel or just quit. So close to puzzle master . Anyway, if you could add more glass to the second I think that would help. Also, I thought the survival challenge was fun and I loved the swinging from tiny circle to the next that you used a lot in the second level and the survival challenge. Amazing levels and I did get a little dizzy. 2010-07-04 20:44:00

Wow! Thank you very much for trying them all. Very kind of you, considering they are quite long and challenging levels.

If you happen to visit this thread again, could you explain a bit more about the glass slide - which level, and which wheel. I'm a little confused.

I appreciate the positive feedback and the recommendations.

Thanks again.

Okay, so first I'll start where I'm at the choice to either go ahead and finish the level or try the final wheel, I finally got to the end of the final wheel and got out of it and slid on a slide that I think was made of glass. Then it slid me to the next but I had to fall to the next one. It was a long fall and I landed so hard on it that I went through it and I ended up back at the part where I had to either go to the final wheel or go ahead and finish the level. But now that I think of it, I could've just held retry and ended back up at the end of the wheel. But that's the part I mean.2010-07-05 00:16:00

Got it, I'll definitely look into that - no one has ever had that issue before (I've had a lot of people post their "Puzzle Wheel Master" picture for the level). Very strange, you just never know with LBP. Haha. Thank you for the feedback - very appreciated.
