Race of the Ancients

This level is a challenging course in which you will defeat the traps that the Ancients left behind! It's a cool level with light cycles, awesome traps, and a cool ancient theme! There are closed in parts, widely open spaces, sunny and dark lighting schemes. I created some small help messages in-game, and there is infinite lives because the goal is to finish! Feel free to leave some constructive criticism, I'm always willing to check out your levels as well. Complete with the highest score in the race to place first in the leaderboards!

(I have photos on my computer but I don't know how to post them, I tried the manage attachments tab but apparently all my photos are too large, little help?)

Not much to say about your level. It was fun and had a fair difficulty level. From the other topic: There's one part where the level broke on me, twice. The lift that takes you up ought to have a checkpoint on it - I couldn't get back on it when I fell off once - that's an issue that could be fixed, as it happened to me too and I didn't like having to restart. Some of the switches could use some hiding, too. It was surprisingly short too but that's a very small issue.

I actually had a lot of fun with your level! It actually isn't as difficult as you say. There's one part where the level broke on me, twice. The lift that takes you up ought to have a checkpoint on it - I couldn't get back on it when I fell off once, and when I didn't fall off I couldn't see the platform over the fire very clearly. I think that's more of a camera issue. There are some mouths and switches that need hiding. I don't think the level is long enough to necessitate the music change - and I think you ought to make it longer. The first music is much more suiting anyway.

You have some cool obstacles in this level, some pretty fun parts to it. It was fairly short, though and I was hoping it'd be a bit longer. I think I spend about 2 minutes in it.

Also, at the spinning part, it is really easy to skip most of it. At the second spinner you can just let go on the left, upper part and fling yourself over everything. You hit the fire once but you live and are at the next checkpoint. Maybe make something at the end of that fire, like a wall that'll catch people skipping it and leave them in the fire. MUHAHAHA!

So to anyone who has seen the NEW boss lol, what did you think of him? I came into some problems so it's nothing memorable but his design was awesome. Thanks RSQ, I'll finish Dark Water 1 and 2, and monstahr's level, it's just that I couldn't find your level monstahr, until I realised just now that the only word in your title is Deck, and not the sub-message too :S lol. I can't wait to release my 3rd project, It's going to be amazing, but I'm spending much more time on its design, and now that I'm introduced to logic gates, I've got some really cool plans coming along!2010-07-09 00:56:00
