Electronic Music Anyone?

Archive: 10 posts

I saw that a bunch of people here like electronic music so I uploaded a dj set mixed by me and wanted to see if you guys liked it
It's pretty much Tech House with an Afterhours flare

Enjoy

I have to admit that I'm not specially keen on electronic music, but still, I'll give it a go out of friendship cause I have nothing more to do. I cant listen at it right now, since I'm at work, so it will take a while for me to give my feedback on it.2010-07-07 15:24:00

I only listen to some parts, cause I couldn't listen to the whole 40 minutes, but the bits I heard sounded pretty good Well done, I liked it.2010-07-09 23:53:00

I really liked how it was always changing but still flowed together nicely. It did feel a little repetitious at times but that's often the nature of electronic music, so that's not a bad thing whatsoever.2010-07-12 04:56:00

Dude I'll need to check it out. I love electro, trance, rave and all sorts of dance. I could easily listen to 40 mins of it. I've listened to rave at the party gigs I go to for 4 hours and I'm only 14 lol. Electro is supposed to be repetitive anyone saying it's repetitive. At the moment I'm savin up for dj equipment. I want to start. Teisto and Armin Van Buuren are amazing djs!!2010-07-17 00:46:00

Holy crap! over 45 minutes of tum-tissy groove! How long did that take you to put together? What did you use?
I liked how at times it got almost minimal and then built built back. lots of interesting dynamic flow to it. I also liked the little one-shot accents. I particularly enjoyed the odd little perc-synth melody loop that starts @16:53:50 (a couple of variations on that would have been sweet). Great job!

You Should definately post that on Music by gadders (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=t=15101) ! I know that alot of regulars there are into production. I can't promise that they will all listen to the whole thing with out skipping around; some of 'em are pretty Squirley. lol

As far as this thread being in the wrong section...I think it could go either way, really.
