i know this issue has been discussed before. my question is, do they still delete/ban/censor levels for apparent 'intellectual copyright infringement' ect? are the rules as strictly policed as they were earlier in LBP history? why i must know this, as my current project/level might cross those boundaries ........slightly to be specific, it's set in the star wars universe, & i'm not sure if i would get away with referring to particular characters & spaceships by name.

You should be fine, the majority of the time nothing is moderated, except when little children see levels that are to good they will try and get them moderated.

its quite rare for copyrighted character levels to get moderated since theres so many of them.

Well, what do you THINK gets moderated? Most likely if you are truly questioning yourself about your level getting moderated, it has a chance of getting moderated. I think you will be fine in this situation though, as very few levels do get moderated due to copyrighted characters.

I agree with Syroc So try to avoid anything insulting, pornographic or racist. I plan to make a Disney's "Little Einsteins" level at some point but I doubt Disney are going to sue me over it. I have seen countless portrails of TV characters movie adaptions, I don't think you should be too worried.

thanks guys for your responses to my query. was worried i would have to change a character's name to 'Ralph Nader' i'll keep it as the proper names, as per Episode 5. on the subject of Star Wars levels; wasn't there a thread (a while back) about them in LBPC forums? can't find it anywhere.

i can almost guarantee you will have no problem. as you may already know, JulesyJules has made some awesome star wars levels, and i dont think he has had any trouble.
