Choose Your Own Death!

I would totally love an invisible gas-like lethal material that allows you to set which death animation you want, with the ability to attach a switch to enable activation timers or whatever. Perhaps a few new animations too, like a splat or broken bones effect after falling off a high ledge, or even the 'stuck' pop animation we already have.

The gas death is the most unimpressive out of the lot, yet it gets the most use as it's the easiest thermo friendly option. I'd love to be able to use the drowning animation in a fog filled room, or a plasma death when touching some lethal water.

Remember that this is a kids game also. The current death methods are meant to be unrealistic, cartoonish, and are designed to be quick so that there's little detail to see in them, and for the player to quickly get back into the action on respawn.

Extending deaths in any way or overemphasizing it in LBP would be too much.

Huh?! I don't want to extend them or make them more realistic, I'm on about being able to choose from the animations we already have.

I do think sackboy needs a few more ways to die.
Sometimes fire/gas/plasma/electricity doesn't fit the level.

Anyone know if you can (easily) mute/modify the sounds from the hazards in LBP2? The buzzing gas noise never fits where I need it.

As I have understood, you can make objects invisible in LBP2, or at least there was a material for it, but might be wrong too. And it only solves half of the problem.
And doesn't LBP2 have LAIZORs? Or is it just a stubborn rumour? (A laizor could probably be made invisible!)
