Moving Objects to the Other Lane
Archive: 12 posts
I was thinking that we should be able to move objects that are made out of grabbable material, to the opposite lane. Now we would only be able to move by grabbing them with "R" and then switch lanes like you would normally. An option for grabbable materials should be this "Enable Lane Switching?", then you would simply choose "yes" or "no". What do you guys think? Would this be possible? | 2010-07-02 04:36:00 Author: TheNerd Posts: 840 |
I would like to see something like that. Maybe it will be on lbp2. You could make some interesting puzzles with that option. | 2010-07-02 04:40:00 Author: VelcroJonze Posts: 1305 |
yea thats a cool idea i would like to see lane switching stuff like platforms coming out of the wall by sliding from lane to lane. | 2010-07-02 05:00:00 Author: SketchNZ Posts: 1668 |
I've thought of something like this exept it would be in every switch. And what would you do if it is set to a thin layer? | 2010-07-02 05:04:00 Author: ConverseFox Posts: 2333 |
I've thought of something like this exept it would be in every switch. And what would you do if it is set to a thin layer? Nothing because you can't grab a thin layer. I'm only talking about one layer objects. But if it was attached to a thin layer, then it would simply move up or down one layer with whatever it's glued to. | 2010-07-02 05:21:00 Author: TheNerd Posts: 840 |
If the grab switch is set to an thick layer in the front lane and the thick layer is in the same object as a thin layer that is in the back layer, would the tomburk glitch happen or what would happen? | 2010-07-02 05:29:00 Author: ConverseFox Posts: 2333 |
the whole lane switching thing would only aply to sinlge layer obects but 2 single slayer objects glued together would either give you a 3rd layer or crash the game well thats what i think anyway | 2010-07-02 10:20:00 Author: unXpectiD Posts: 1132 |

But I don't think it's possible right now. So, yeah we'll just wait for LBP 2 for PSP. | 2010-07-03 06:07:00 Author: TheNerd Posts: 840 |

(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oy_a3oCDzRA) At 1:42-1:45, if you have a good eye, you can notice that the large circular piece comes from the 2nd layer to the first. See? | 2010-07-14 21:09:00 Author: Unknown User |
I think everybody knows that LBP2 comes with Lane Switching. Or am I wrong? | 2010-07-14 21:13:00 Author: CyberSora Posts: 5551 |
I think everybody knows that LBP2 comes with Lane Switching. Or am I wrong? Well, obviously not, since they didn't know about the power gloves. Which can allow you to grab and move between lanes. https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=28726-New-Tools-Features-and-Updates-in-LittleBigPlanet-2 | 2010-07-14 23:45:00 Author: Silver39 Posts: 1703 |
Hmmm...yes I suppose that would be pretty cool. And it would come in great handy at times. And maybe there could be like a setting on pistons where it pushes the object so it switches between layers and whatnot. | 2010-07-18 03:09:00 Author: eagerneph Posts: 1536 |
