Super Sack Costume Creation Contest!

As many of you know LittleBigWorkshop May Theme is Sackboy to the Rescue! A super hero theme

I am holding a contest (of sort) to see who can make the best super hero!

1: Competitors will first have to make a costume for there hero, let your imagination run wild and make the best costume you can!

2:Then we will need a back story on your hero, what are its powers? How did they come to be a hero? nemesis?

3: Finally you will have to make and take a picture of your hero doing something heroic! be it saving a kitten or stopping a force of evil be creative!

Only 3 entries per person plz
Each hero entry will be rewarded exp (will keep a log for when it re-releases)
The top 10 or so sacks will receive an additional prize and will also receive double exp pay
The best sack will receive even more exp and a tangible prize (more options soon to come)

In light of the soon to be marvel pack we'll be using a loose slot system, you may substitute any of your three entries with a new better one or a revised one if you feel like it. This can be done anytime before July 25 so theres still lots of time to do so

Pierro of his real name was given his "powers" when he was a simple miner. He discovered a passion for dynamite, he just loved seeing things blow up in pieces. He even killed one person, we think this is the moment when he started to act crazy. MadPimente got his name from Mexico's journalists, as he's mad and he likes to explode, like a Jalapeno, well, they gave him this name and we think he likes it... He uses his powers the way he can, the want he wants to. It can be catastrophic as it can be very thoughtful and heroic. He's a maniac.

LightRose was my best friend(BFF for life girl! ;D) in high school, we used to hang out a lot and go shopping,etc. Normal things a teenager should do. I think one day she told me she wanted to change things. I told her to go buy new clothes but she wasn't talking about that. So, I was like, "Okay, go change the world and come see me when you're done!" The way she looked at me was stunning, I never saw her like that. It's like if she got the nicest shoes ever for free! *giggles* Oh erm.. yea, so she was like: "I feel it, I feel it, the power to change everything, to make love not war, to stop people being depressed and unhappy, I feel it! So you know, I didn't believed it when she told me that. Haha WHO WOULD!? pfff.... Well I was wrong. There she is all over the world, her face is known in China! backstory:
"I'm not proud of what I did, but I'm glad I did it" - psychobunny
When two friends, rick and john went hunting for rabbits, little did they realist that the field they were hunting in was in between a nuclear power plant, and a war-paint shop. As they walked into the field, scouting for fresh meat. They heard a whirring noise, rick turned around only to see psychobunny accidentally falling on john in a makeshift-digger while painting the roof, legend says that psychobunny has not cleaned the blood from his ears and body since the event. Rick shot at the crazed bunny with his gun and one went straight through the creatures eye, like frank in donnie darko, anyway, the bunny stood on its legs and snapped the paintbrush in half, then burrowed into the ground, rick ran but he was too late, the bunny jumped up and got rick too, on purpose this time. since then, psychobunny has vowed never to kill another human being, and has been protecting them ever since. At the age of six, the kid, by then called Ordaos, found out that his parents weren't his real parents. Ordaos became emotionally disturbed and was sent to a shrink. After two hours the shrink gave up, Ordaos wouldn't talk. "He is crazy!" said the shrink. That was the moment the walls started the break appart and Ordaos' eyes lit up... red. The next moment Ordaos exploded into millions of tiny, black circles and dissapeard forever.

Nowadays Ordaos is known under a different name: Chaos

You can upload pictures through the PS3 browser as well (and its faster/ easier. ), so you don't need a flashdrive.

The Backstory

KernelM and I had been playing LBP for years, running across the kinds of glitches that we could only perceive to be random... Under discussion, experimentation, and investigation, however, the truth was revealed that we were no ordinary sackpeople. Theck gas is our kryptonite, though we have the power to phase through theck at will!

We knew our powers were great, and to reference the oh-so-famous quote from Spiderman, we would take on new responsibilities. We now use our powers to phase through walls and debris to save people in accidents involving cave-ins, collisions, earthquakes, and more.

Furthermore, each of us have an aditional power. KernelM, the Blue Gale (left) has the speed of a hurricane and reflexes unmatched by any other living creature. I, the Red Tech (right), have incredible intelligence and knowledge of killer-robotics.

The Demonstration

As ThecX-Men, KernelM and I have the power to do what no regular sackperson could ever do. When Ainsl3y_xo was kidnapped, the mastermind's fortress seemed all but impenetrable....

...until we learned it had theck.

Thanks to KernelM for creating the demonstration with me and Ainsl3y_xo for being a damsel-in-distress.

KernelM and I, the Blue Gale and the Red Tech, smile at our heroic plight to save the innocent Ainsley. She is tortured in the lair of a psychotic evil mastermind, the White Valkyrie, the sworn enemy of the ThecX-Men!

Using our unmatched abilities, we phase through the theck slowly and silently. We hear the maniacal, cynical laughter of the White Valkyrie as she stabs Ainsley with electric probes of doom.

We quickly devise our plan of attack. A cage used for torture purposes was left on the cieling.

Heroically, I, the Red Tech, jumped down and pulled the lever of dissolve and invigoration, trapping the White Valkyrie where she stood. Our damsel cheered at her saving.

However, the day was not fully saved. The evil mastermind had made his lair impenetrable (but not too impenetrable for the ThecX-Men.) Was it inescapable too?

Looking around, The Blue Gale spotted a convenient REEEL WATERZ switch. He quickly went to pull it and save the day.

Ainsley was quick to escape through a hole in the wall that appeared after pulling the switch. The Blue Gale and Red Tech were soon to follow.

The White Valkyrie was not so lucky, fittingly meeting a watery grave.

Yurev, to say in a sense, is bold. Born in one of the most coldest places on Earth, young Dimitri started out as a herdsman with his father and mother. But, at the age of 15, he was forcefully taken away by SVR agents under the orders of Chairman Ivan Makalov, head of a sub-division of the Russian military. Trained under torturous conditions and authoratative cruelty, Dimitri spent the next 8 years in secrecy, enduring relentless punishment from his peers. Then, at the age of 23, after months of testing and research, the SVR finally fitted him with the S.K.A.R. prototype, a powersuit outfitted with futuristic technologies and super-soldier outfittings, replicated from stolen blueprints designed by Stark Industries. As soon as he donned the suit, Dimitri, now empowered with immense enery and limitless strength, he finally took his chance- to escape. This is what I posted at the official contest:

He was born a blind orphan, and lived solemnly in an orphanage until the age of six. Then he was adopted by a crazed scientist who connected his optic nerves with a solar energy channeler, and trained him up to be his evil sidekick. But, at the age of 16, Opti-Dude realized that what he was doing was wrong, so he rebelled, and escaped vowing to only use his ability against evil.

My, my... what one would do for their mother...

Take it back about 1 year. Lil' Yuan lost his poor, precious mommy to some crossfire between Bloods and Crips. Meh, happens to anyone livin' down there. Left alone, abandoned, orphaned- whatever you call it, the tiny Asian kid got desperate. REALLY desperate. To the point that he called on me to bring her back... oh-ho, it felt SO good!!

So he went to the old, abandoned Baptist church on 7th, deep in Blood territory (who needs religion anyways?). Made a little circle-thingy, took out some sort of shank, went "emo" on his wrist, yada-yada-yada... makin' some sort of "blood-sacrifice" to bring back mommy... Boy, did that backfire.

Hah! He was petrified! Aghast! Scared witless!! The lil' Asian was helpless!!... just another sucker added to the jar. He was mine... he was mine...

But then he showed up. Of all people, HE showed up... GOD, of all things!!

Yeah, that's right kiddies. The old geezer's real. There's no denying that. Just appeared like a flash of lightning and *POOF*, can't remember a thing after that.

Alright, speed it up about a year or so, and- hey! Freakshow's some sort of superhero now! Fightin' baddies, helpin' old ladies, receivin' congressional medals... the whole shebang. Even got some sort of weird name he goes by... Archangel, I believe? Yeah, Archangel... I use to have that title. But then DAD had to kick me out. Super, just super...

fantastic entry, best told story ive seen yet, costumes not to gloriouse but its creative and i like it.

lol im sorry morgana i didnt see your entry awhile ago it slipped passed me, thats absualutely fantastic, i love the comic and the story is great, costumes good too, definantly giving everyone a run for there money

remember everyone you can make as many entries as you want but can only appoint 3 as entries before the final cut, so you can better your costume or just make an entire new hero and replace another. So far i could'nt be happier with how this is turning out and hope to see more Super Sacks from lbpc 		2010-07-15 06:06:00

Thanks guys deadline is comign up quik people! im pushing the deadline to the 30th because of a change in plans, the top 10 entries wont be in my LBW7 anymore, not really a loss for you but anyway im gunna think of a substitute for it, still will recieve double exp as normal entries, any ideas for and extra top 10 entries bonus would be nice, i was thinking a hall of fame, or making golden in game statues of your hero for you

In the future, monkeys rule with an iron fist. Monkey X was sent back to stop the simian takeover, unfortunately he was sent back 10 years too early, so he spends his time fighting crime and kittens with his superior technology.

You can't really tell from the pics, but he has: the curly monkey tail, chimerian armour, radio decorations for his belt, ear piece/communicator and 2 shoulder mounted lasers!
This is my new favourite costume, I might make a level about him in LBP2.

EDIT: Yeah, please excuse the piece of dark matter and the fact that the tree switches layers, haha.

!!!! I...love...monkey costumes :3 this one really touches me lol, not only is it a monkey but its a pretty great costume with great colours and a decent story to back it up, a little more work on the background of the pictures would've been nice but its still a fantastic shot of your hero in action. The Clownman is a psychopathic, murderous clown. He saw His family die in an elephant tightroping accident(don't ask) and went insane. He lies awake all night practising His tricks and sharpening His blades till He falls asleep and dreams violent dreams... He hates all superheroes with a passion because He didn't want to be forced into the family business, He wanted to be a superhero! He puts on circus performances for Tarantulaman which usually end with knife "juggling" and Taranatula Man running away. Tarantulaman still visits the peformances despite how many times He could have been killed and The Clownman still puts them on despite how many times He's failed.		2010-07-30 22:17:00

ThecX-Men won best super power and I was a good sport and gave them both full EXP prizes instead of splitting it half and half between them. Again thank you everybody who entered, could'nt have been happier with the results and it makes me proud to have hosted a contest that people had fun entering I may or may not host another contest, I try to think of contest that are simple, easy to enter, and above all FUN.
