I thought my questions were quite good ;_;

My questions were if there'd be a sticker cutout tool and if you could make materials etc. invisible in play mode.

I know! One of them being:

-Can people from LBP1 join your pod or even play levels with you in LBP2?

I mean, WHAT THE HECK? Of course not!

Is the first person to comment on that thread is an idiot or what? "WHY put keyboard and mouse controls in the game?" WTFF LOL its a GREAT idea.

My Questions:
"Can we possibly get an update on the backwards compatibility, levels-wise?
"Is there going to be any types of new emotions & actions that sackboy and sackbot can use? It will help with making movies etc."

Will you be able to make "Sackbots" in LBP2 or will you just stick with Sackboys?

Will the creatinator also be available as a paintinator-like gun or just as the headgear?

Mouse support! I would love to know more about how it will work, and even more importantly if this will translate into Pen Tablet support. Photo editing has been a magical experience for me ever since I got a tablet, I can only imagine how organic and real it would feel to create worlds and levels in LBP2 with a tablet!

its a PS3 game.... not on tablet....god....

Can we get hoodies and headphones?

Can you ask the guys from Ratchet & Clank to make costumes and levels, then be released as DLC?

Sweet Jepeto some people are thick.

I don't have any questions to ask, I'll just have to grin and bear and to put up with it until the game's come out, it's better that way, better than to ask them stuff like Will u release the Valentine's Day pack again for Christmas ???

This is turning into a find the stupidest question hunt.

Well, that question about stickers is legit. I can bet there's alot of people that would like to make stickers. First person to love would be me. I was making stickers in Mario Paint back then and it was a total blast. It would also open up creativity GREATLY.
But it's probably too cool of a feature for LBP2...

That actually was a pretty good question. There are some crazy creative things that people could do with tablet compatibility. That would also go good with the sticker creation question.

That just blew my min- /explodes

You can already make stickers though, that's why I found it funny.

Just an FYI - you CAN use a tablet.

I hooked my tablet up and was able to use it with the PS3 no problem, therefore, it works with LBP2.

I know what you mean but it still is pictures really. A sticker maker would give you all the advantages of a real sticker. You wouldn't have extremely compressed colors and you would have transparency. Imagine drawning them pixel by pixel too. This would really bring something to the game imo.

Think I might have to throw my stupid question into the ring. 'Is there still a thermometer?"Sorry, I just hadn't seen any videos of the create mode and I had read a lot of things that said stuff like 'The reins are off'. I got confused.2010-07-09 09:52:00

Sadly, yes, there is still a max of how muchbstuff you can stuff in your level.

On the bright side, the calculations that determine the max have been improved and you will be bale to stuff slightly more into levels.

Not necessarily. You can use a mouse on some PS3 programs, but not all programs support it - by extension just because a tablet works with some programs, doesn't mean it works with all programs.

IIRC a mouse and tablet use a slightly different interface protocol. A mouse sends relative coordinate changes, whereas a tablet sends absolute coordinates.

Now, it's been stated that LBP2 will support a mouse, but not necessarily a tablet.

If we didn't buy the PotC pack in LBP1, will wter be free in LBP"?

XD

Of course not, as Doopz said, Sony do like their money.

how we get the LBP crown? for sackboy, can we get it on LBP2??

I'm not sure that makes sense, but surely everyone knows how to get a crown now.

The only question I can think of is

"With all this new stuff, is the thermometer being worked on so objects cost less? I know you can't make the thermometer itself bigger, as that's the amount the PS3 can take, but it with all this new stuff, levels could be a lot shorter than we want."

Not sure if it sounds dumb or not, could they make stuff cost less?

Its not that stuff will cost less and its not that the thermometer cant be bigger, it is how Mm use the power and constraints of the PS3 so that they can get more efficient at the amount of stuff in a level.

I think you misunderstand.

The PS3 recognises the tablet as a mouse. It works exactly the same as a mouse, whereby you lift the pen off and put it back to carry on moving the cursor from it's current position, not where the pen's position on the tablet represents the cursor's position on-screen.

So, PS3 thinks a tablet is a mouse, LBP2 supports a mouse, hence, LBP2 supports a tablet.

(Although, I'm not saying every tablet will work. Probably just ones that are plug-n-play compatible)

You don't know that. We don't have any confirmation whether it will or will not be released again on LBP1 for the release of LBP2.
You see, spacesuit came in 2008 (celebrating the release of LBP1)
Then in 2009, PSP version came out developed by Sony Cambridge (spacesuit released again)
So, in 2010, you don't know, but it seems logical to assume that it should be released one more time on LBP1 to compliment the release of LBP2.

So... Keep quiet if you don't know. If you have a source, provide it.

In that case it probably will work, but it's not as useful for people accustomed to tablets which maintain a consistent coordinate system, which I always thought was the whole point of a tablet.

I don't see the point of a mouse in the first place. I just wish there was a way to move the corner editor faster....

With a mouse it'll be much much easier to make accurate changes to objects. In other words, theres going to be a lot more detail in objects because it'll be way easier to edit things more accurately. IMO2010-07-11 19:11:00

They never said hat you could make objects any smaller, so it's still the same detail..
