well, after reading details about PlayStation Plus, and LBP being one of Sony's major games, I would put money on the beta being exclusive to PSN + members. :/

They wouldn't close off the beta for only Playstation Plus members. That would leave out many awesome creators becuase I assure you not every one of them will be getting the package.

-_- They never said that PS+ members would get "exclusive" acess to betas, they said they "may get access earlier " to betas. So the most you can worry about is others playing the beta before you do. (Not to mention its not a fact that you'll get into the beta anyways, so you can still miss it wether its PS+ exclusive or not. )

That is slightly worrying, but Im pretty sure that Sony said that PS+ members would get it earlier, not exclusively. I don't think Ill get PS+ anyway, the reason I got the PS3 was because the online services were free.

I wouldn't think its anything to worry about. Personally, I don't care if I get into the beta. I'd be happy enough to wait and play the actual game.

I did the same for the MG beta by buying Qore, and I found a few things, and reported them; and discussed some other things on the forums and with devs.. Read his post again dude, he says the spoiled little kids that get it won't report the bugs. He never said "everyone who got it is a spoiled little kid" or that "no one who gets it with PS+ would report bugs"... -_- So yeah...i'd reccomend double read before answering to something the way you did.

As much as I can gather about PS+, for now it sounds like a waste of money. Many betas (not LBP2) go public after a certain amount of private testing anyways. I would rather not pay (I forget the three month amount) or $49.99 for a week extra time in the beta a two exclusive FP avies. You shouldn't have to pay for early access (or access at all) to a beta.

The one thing to remember though is that media molecule already have a list of current Beta users. I also remember them saying one time that we haven't finished and they are going to make us test more things. and that they will be opening up the beta to more users. So I think all current beta tester and even more people will get the LBP2 Beta, and if that is so then they will get all the feedback they need. There are some amazing dedicated users already in the current beta participants.

If MM release the beta to PS+ users, I'll get PS+. If they release it to people who pre-order the game, well, I plan to already. Personally, I'd love to be able to take part in the beta test for the game. I'd genuinely devote my time to testing out all the various aspects of the game and send regular, detailed reports to MM should any bugs arise. LBP is my favourite game in the universe, so testing LBP2 before it's release would be like, the best. Ever. I find the problem sometimes (I'm not talking about any of you, dw) with people is the second they hear the word 'beta', they think it means a free game which they can play before anyone else and the second they get it and find out it's unfinished and has bugs in they get cross and don't end up buying the actual game when it comes out. If you sign up to test a beta for any game you've got to be prepared for the fact that it really is a beta you're testing, not a fully working finished game, and that there's going to always be the chance that it could have bugs in it which could cause real problems with your system. You're there to help the developers find and fix any bugs before the game's release, not to have a romp around in it like it's a free game and not provide any feedback to the devs once you get it. Not that you're not allowed to have fun and get an idea of how the game's going to be when it's released, though - you've just got to be prepared to give something back for having the privilage of testing the game.

im going to get plus at the end of summer i like beta testing things... i usually use the ps3 and cp at the same time so i can report bugs as soon as they happen so i can be as accurate as possible and remember all the details.

don't worry, all of the star creators will have gold plated beta serial cards hand delivered to their homes. complaining that a feature gives what it advertises and not having that feature doesnt. well, that's silly.
