Diversity Co op levels with Marvel super powers

I'm loving the idea of co-op levels in LBP2 that give each of the players different abilities and require them to figure out how to work together to solve challenges. This sounds pretty easy to do using individual spawns, and perhaps spawning directly into differently augmented sackbots. (I think this game play sub genre might be called "diversity co op". )

All this Marvel stuff seems like a perfect match for that kind of thing, and I'm looking for ideas on how to best implement the various Marvel hero super powers in LBP2. Suggestions?

For starters I'm thinking of a 4 player co-op level where each player plays as one of the Fantastic Four. So...

Mr. Fantastic - permanent grapplenator
The Invisible Woman - "unseen" (ignored) by all bad guys (which will probably require some interesting logic)
The Thing - permanent Power Gloves
The Human Torch - flight and/or ability to emit flame projectiles

So, for example, maybe you'd need Thing to to move a big metal door out of the way, so Invisible Woman can sneak into a heavily guarded room and push a button the disables a missile system, allowing The Torch to fly overhead, dragging Mr Fantastic over the building, where he can use his grapplenator to reach a switch in a small space, pulling it and thus saving the Planet from the brink of destruction. And while each hero is taking their individual turn in the spotlight, the rest are battling waves of evil npc sackbots, so as not to get bored.

Anyway, I'd welcome suggestions to flesh out this idea, especially for puzzle/challenge concepts.

This is a great idea, seeing as Fantastic Four is one of my favorite superhero groups, I really would enjoy such a level. Sadly, there is no Mr. Fantastic costume. I'm assuming that you can substitute either Human Torch's or Invisible Woman's suits in place of his however. Not really sure considering HT might be on fire, and IW...well might be partially invisible/transparent.2010-06-29 21:20:00

I remember seeing a costume where the sackboy was wearing a clear plastic costume. You could have an emitter that spawns a clear sackbot when you press a certain button, and in that mode, your sackbots microchip is missing a key switch that makes enemies react to it.2010-06-29 21:24:00

Yeah, this does seem a bit remiss, but seeing as how they are a major movie franchise, I too am betting he's not getting his own costume only because there will be an obvious work around.
