I think it's a cool idea because i Love Jack Johnson(the singer) so lets see what you guys think. I'm going to make the level like a beach with guitars around and stuff like that and the whole time the scenery will change with each passing Jack Johnson song. Also he's gonna be one of my Sackboys. Peace, Serenity, Jack Johnson and Littlebigplanet I dont think you can change the actual background of the the stage to a custom one, only a fair few presets.. same goes for music at the minute, so we'll see how well you can actually do this. I don't listen to Jack Johnson anyway, but I have known a guy with the same name for years!

Sorry to wreck the idea, it sounds cool, but I don't think you can use your own songs in the game. You can only use songs that come with the game. And I don't think this will ever be a feature unless they make a deal with itunes or something as there will be too much use of illegally downloaded songs.

But they could do, and it seems like they are, a mario paint style thing where you can recreate any tune, LBP style! (Not the lyrics though...)

I thought that was just cutting and editing the in game tracks! Does it have every single note? And if it is just cutting and editing the in-game tracks, I wonder if I'd be able to eventually extract every single note (a few octaves worth) out of the tracks and make them available in a level for everyone to download. Could be a worthwhile endeavour...

Ya never know what the final build of the game will allow though. And maybe there will be like midi support or something so you can get the notes all there or something. MIDI support would be sweet!

well they could atleast add a musioc creator. Create your own music using notes then save it like u do w/ costumes and pods ?
