How weird are you?

Post something weird and / or unique about yourselves! But keep it clean

I'll start:

I don't like hot or cold milk (just mildly warm)
I want to like coffee (don't ask!!)
I feel slightly uncomfortable when people mix up "You're" with "Your". And "There" with "Their" or "They're" (And vice versa!)

She wouldn't believe me when I told her that it wasn't made for kids...

I dislike really really hard LBP levels.
The kind where you have to jump and land on 4 wobbling needle platforms all spaced further apart than you can jump.

Mildly warm milk?! Dear god I hate even slightly warm milk, it's got to be ice cold. Any warmer and I find it revolting. But I love it when it's just right, I drink way too much milk XD

My weird stuff is to do with eating/drinking.
I eat:
With knife & fork in reverse hands
One type of food at a time (i.e. all the chicken before broccoli)
And I drink in sort of gulps. I guess I use my mouth to make a 'straw' and suck the drink into my mouth.

So, yeah I am weird but that's just my dining oddities!
I hate it when people use punctuation incorrectly.
I hate it when people say 'lol' in real life (Just laugh out loud!)
I can name the type/abilities of any of the pokemon (Not 5th gen)
I have indeed 'Caught them all' in pokemon, days before 5th gen was announced. (Very annoying)
I am a fan of the Halo franchise, despite never owning an Xbox (My friend has one)

I have to put my clothes on in a certain order, and almost always feel the almost obssessive compulsion to do something that I think of; for example throwing my computer onto the road screaming "its NOT TRUE!". and in a plane I always ask if the peanuts contain nuts. Also, I check the packets of vegetables to see if they are vegetarian. and i can't sleep if i don't have some sort of cover for example a duvet etc etc.
I call milk yak, for some reason.

Oh my... where do I start? Ok everyone says that... I'll start after the next dot.

I like to sleep alot but I don't want to sleep in the evening (ok that may be normal to people in my age)
I eat cereal without any milk, crunchy

I got the idea to get a mohawk and didn't tell anyone but two people before I got it (my brother and my girlfriend) yes, I have one
I find it annoying that I have started every sentence with I, and there is nothing I can do about it.
I never sit at my chair normally... ok sometimes but I usually change position after I've sat here for a long time.
I like to save my used playstation network cards, I have 4 of them right now, soon a fifth one.
I like to speak to people that I have never talked to before but I know that they are nice (online, of course... I'm way too shy in real life...)
I hate those people who shout "c-c-c-combobreaker" in a combo but still I like to break a combo.
Sometimes I would want to live alone somewhere where no one could find me, maybe somewhere in a jungle or on a mountain.
I didn't start that last sentence with I (this isn't weird thing about me, other than the fact that I made a note about it)
I once decided to create all night when I was alone at home with my brother. The creating lasted 13 hours, the level was good in the beginning but then it all just collapsed and it failed, hard.
There are many things I would like to do in life but will most likely never do, for example write a book, become a teacher (lol wtf) aaand other stuff I can't think of now.
I realized that that last fact wasn't very weird... people have dreams.
Then those dreams collect and meld...
And they form a world.
An ethereal dream scape of adventure and possibilities.
An abstract plane of beautiful wonderment just waiting to be explored...
And you can go there now.
I get goosebumps and almost want to cry when I see the intro to LBP.
I can't wait to see the intro of LBP2 for the first time, every time I see an intro or opening scene to a new game I get goosebumps.

I wonder how common this is? I used to HATE eating cereal with milk over mainly down to the fact they would get soggy and yeah not my cup of tea. I prefer them to keep a bit of crunch. But as of last few years I guess I lost that uneasiness. I got into eating weetabix which are the epitome of sogginess so I got over it then. 1. I can't help it but my pupils are always really big.

2. I tend to look at things and visualise strange things in my head. E.g. last night I was looking at a tree and imagined it twisting and and splitting. Also last night I looked at a house roof and started unfolding it in my head into it's net form.

3. Milk makes me feel sick in the morning, otherwise I love it. Similarly if I eat yoghurt to fast I gag.

4. I get myself out of trouble at school (without lying) by carefully choosing my words.
My school is very strict on wearing hats. If we don't have a hat we get a detention instantly, so when I was asked if I had a hat (which I didn't at all) I said I don't have one right this very moment. You get the point.

5. I'm right handed but drink with my left and do other things with my left hand.

6. I have sudden urges to climb things.

7. The most appropriate time to be weird comes along and I take the matter seriously by making a list.

Bah, that's too funny. I don't like most cheese at all. I can eat mozzarella and grated Parmesan in the green can and that's it. I don't like milk at all. I can't even stand the smell of mayonnaise. I love butter on popcorn, potatoes, and vegetables, but I can't stand it on bread, not even pancakes.

Weird? I say that normality is overrated, what's the point of acting exactly like everyone else expects you to? Which is why pretty much anything I do can be considered weird.


If I had to list a few things, I'd say:
I have an irrational belief/gut feeling that if I think about being hit by lightning while out during storms it may actually attract the lightning.
I talk to my cats even though I know they don't understand a word I'm saying (just short phrases though).
I can't stand to leave the toilet seat up, even in public restrooms.

I cannot click my fingers. not at all. never been able to.
I dont eat cake, crisps, or pizza
I'll often find myself going to do something, and doing something else, but forgetting the first thing, or just not remembering what I was doing at all.
I correct people's grammar/spelling mistakes on facebook/msn, or point it out if its IRL
I dont watch football. I despise it. they're undeservingly overpayed dropouts who fake injuries.

Sometimes I start imagining weird stuff and end up having a headache.

Oh I have new weird things!
No, not really new but things I didn't mention before.

I like to talk to myself.
I would like to go outside and walk and just do stuff there, but I never do.
I would like to go to parties but I never do.
I would like to do something else than sit in my room all day at the computer and browse through the same sites from day to day... I never do.
Sometimes I feel like I should cry when I see something beautiful or extremely sad, but I don't... even If I'm alone so it's not because no one should see.
When a friend of mine signs in to MSN or somewhere I usually open a chat window and start to type, but pretty often I just think about what to type until the person is offline. If not, I can't think of anything to say after the response.
My life may seem (and is) extremely sad and lonely but somehow I'm not a sad person... I just live with what I am.
The way I hold a pen is really retarded but it's the only way I can hold a pen although almost everyone else can't write anything the way I do.
I can imagine in my head pretty much every detail of a drawing but I can't draw it, which makes me sad.
Some people may think I am artistic but I pretty much suck at drawing or creating anything.

Sometimes i see bad things coming and they play out in my head in half a second just before they take place >_> that can be handy but usually its me causing it Example: (this ones happened multiple times) im shooting hoops with some friends and just before that ball leaves my hands i get this strong feeling its gunna ricochet just right to hit a person in the face. When I was a kid I used to absolutely love the smell of Mum & Dad's hall carpet, they'd often find me sat on the bottom stair having a bit of a sniff. I once got out of bed unable to sleep until I got a good noseful!

Same, I also laugh at almost anything remotely funny and I laugh for ages, but I try to stop myself from laughing so people don't think I'm weird and end up making weird noises making me seem weirder.

Got some new ones:

- I love brussel sprouts, and I'm 13
- I can spell quite well when writing on paper with a pen/pencil, but I can't spell on the computer, I think I've just gotten used to relying on spell checker so I can't be bothered to think about the spelling...
- I don't have a phone, mainly because I'd much rather spend my money on video games
- My birthday is August 8th
- And I'm so weird I felt the need to randomly slip my birthday in there even though it has no relevance to this....

I do not like broccoli too much, but since it may be the healthiest vegetable you can eat I am trying to "convert" my tongue. No advancement yet.

As for being weird, I have a personality that flexes it's way around itself when I am with different people. I am more a freak with others, or calm and quiet around others.

I sometimes talk to myself for intelligent conversation.

Not seen a single post here that I would define as weird.

Their *snigger* have been a couple of things I would consider quirky, but not weird. Although craving frozen peas is up there. Personally I go for eating frozen carrots or un-cooked ovenchips.

Other quirky things would include putting toilet paper on the seat before sitting and opening door handles with your sleeve to stop from getting cooties.

I will quite happily walk through the center of town wearing either a full length cloak or chainmaile (not as fancy dress). Now that's reasonably weird, had some strange looks when I took my medieval helmet on the plane tho. I classed it as a hat to save on weight restrictions.

There are lots of other things that I probably shouldn't mention, but that is a nice start.		2010-07-21 10:47:00

Whenever I'm given the opportunity, I like to add lots of onions and/or garlic to my food (I'm passing by Gilroy next week! ).

I tie my shoes so tight to the point that I must literally bend over and gnaw at my shoelaces.

I can eat a pickled pepper fine, but a raw one?... NO FREAKIN' WAY.

I've given up soda for half a year once (for a bet). At the end of it, I was almost driven insane (my dad made me end the bet, by the way, because of that).

How weird am I? Well, I cannot judge that. I've just lost my pineapple crown to King Flapjack and his Terrific Team of Villainous Foes and, without it, I can't make a simple judgment. I mean, just the other day, I was talking to Tony Stark when he asked me if his Snape slippers where showing. I couldn't tell him; yes or no. I had to talk to the Unicorn Messiah to get an answer. Even then I wasn't sure. I just oiled the track and jumped on the TV, just to keep myself from going insane. It's awful not being able to make a decision.

Yeah, that i'm not typing in a computer, so...yeah, not to mention its kinda dark already, i type really fast, and forget to go back and look over typos.

Also the fact that english isn't my native laguage helps my misspelling sometimes...
