I just want you guys to post funny fails that happened to you in story mode!

I don't know if this is considered a 'funny fail', but I know every single time I play The Meerkat Kingdom - EVERY SINGLE TIME - when I finally pull the stripe-tailed meerkat to its mum, the drawbridge comes down and I always forget to move out of the way and it squishes me x.x it's really embarrassing because I've played that level enough times to know to move out of the way yet I never do.

The last Metropolis level, I was about to ace it... I defeated the boss, and got to the Ze Dude's jet. Then I jumped onto a fire wreckage Fail.

In the Collector Boss battle, when you are about to battle the first machine, you can grab on it's dissolve protection. As soon as it goes up, let go. You'll land on the collectors controlroom XD Beat that Collector!

lol, does this count? = i had aced the last three levels not counting the boss, and i hadn't backed up my save for a while... (yes you can see where this is going ) and i had to format my ps3 and i lost my aced costume peices

I remember one time, when i was in the temples, i tried to jump on top of one of one of those emitter thing, when it turned to fire. dead, almost aced it. MAJOR FAIL!!!!

I can't remember what level it was on but you had to swing across things by jumping and pressing R1 I was really stuck on it and I couldn't do it I make it onto the last one and then my controller battery died and I let go and haft to start all over again. FAIL

mostly random clipping, like randomly clipping on the bridges in the Islands levels and getting squished D: also, managing to get atop the collector's first robot thingy, and then catapulting myself (when it rises) up to the 2nd one which won't do anything, and I accidentally touch the side of it and get electrocuted

In every level in LBP PSP, for some reason, at the last second, my sackboy lets go of whatever he is grabbing, wile my finger is still on the button. One time I sceamed out "WWHHAT??? YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS!! CHEAP LEVEL........." everyone around me was all :tophat:

That happened to me the first time I beat Serpent's Shrine. I had finally beat Zapata and was walking towards the exit . . . when a flamey bit of cardboard burns me to cinders. We have to replay the whole level.

Just about to ace the last Story level, when I decided to see if the water the King was in was real. It was just gas EDIT: Trying to ace the Bunker, got past the wheel, died on a lightbulb after it.

Grr... My Epic Fail, was when I was trying to ace the Collector (Again, YLOD ) and when I beat it, a random electrical fluff thing comes down and electrocutes me... That's what I get for celebrating too soon... Off-Topic: I once did that with NFSHP2, I was just about to win a race, which took me like 5 tries, threw my hands in the Air and went "YEAH!" aaaaand, the Car went "Crash!" every other car passed me, and I came in last. My reaction?: -_- Ah, the memory's of the PS2...

I was trying to ace 'The Serpent Shrine' before my road trip to L.A. I finally beat the last stage of the boss. I ran to victory when a flaming brick above me hit me right in the head! I ran outside and threw my controller at my potato tree. Then I threw my lizards onto the road and squashed them with a doughnut. The End.

On the level Get a Grip(very fresh in my memory since it happened last night), we were pushing one of the horses down the hill. Well, I jump on it, and I accidentally over-corrected and ended up falling in front of it and I got smashed against a small wall.

heheheh The last time I played story mode, that magician level where the big things of stone fall and you have to avoid them while they build you a pillar to stand on and get to the x2 part (we were trying to get the x2 stuff right then), my friend went through and hit the button and I got smashed by the wall that blocks you from going back. Then, the first piece came down while he was laughing at me and he got crushed, so we had to restart.

When I first played "Sensai's lost castle" I went into the boss room, and he emitted and his giant foot squished my person---FAIL I decided to stand next to the King and when I jumped, my Sackboy crouched and then squished somehow---FAIL I was still on the Dog in "The Darkness" when he got abducted and fell into the horrible gas below-----FAIL I was riding in Uncle Jalepeno's Car in the Metropolis, flew out of bounds, and landed in something that killed me----FAIL I pressed the Retry Button----MAJOR FAIL

I have a fail. It wasnt funny then but it is funny now. I was doing Senseis Lost Castle and was having a hard time acing it. After the millionth try, I finally got to the end of the stage without dying. I was flying down on those things at the end of the stage and I landed right on Sensei's electric cloud and it killed me....... At the time I was furious but I gave the stage another try and aced it finally.

I spent ages on The Darkness, going up to the 2x thing, because my friend and I kept thinking you had to go past that to carry on with the level. It wasn't until three weeks later I thought: 'I wonder what those skulls on winches are for?' Fail.
