Electricity Town ...LegendDarkKnight A simple platformer level, easy and short. My first level, hope you to enjoy this little town... Hello LBP players, I'm new here. Though I got LBP long time ago, I did not find time to play it for long time nor try to create a level myself. Recently I put some effort for creating a level and now I found the true fun part of LBP. I have basic LBP ( not GOTY edition ) and I dont have any pack/costume on sale ( I got only free one, starter pack and free costumes ). So there is no water nor paintinator in my level, still I believe you can enjoy it. I made my first level and named it as "Electricity Town ..." just because I used so many electricity traps. I know its short but I added some variety to make it colorful. I know I could make it bigger ( maybe even better ) but I was excited to share it asap. My wife's account name is Zhuljin and she helped me with ideas and phillemand is a friend from LBP helped me with "moon car" ( I named it). Moon Car is phillemand's idea, while we were in my level, he put it in my level then I asked permission to use it. But his design was not allowing multiple cars so I redesigned it and added as racing part. If you can ace the level, you can get it as prize, though you can make it yourself, everyone is smart enough to understand the trick since its obvious I recommended, asked friends to play it since I published but it seems other than friends its not seen in community levels ( cool levels ) or its really hard to find ? So today I saw this forum area and wanted to join here to share my level with more people... Thanks for reading, and playing my level i hope...

My Rating: :star: :star: :star: Electricity Town is really good for your first level. The second half of the level is generally better than the first. It looks better, plays better, and was definitely more interesting. I think you should go back and revise the first half - decorate it a little more! The background thin layer's material would look nicer as something solid, I believe. Having two "hollow" materials together clashed. Also, you should probably change the fire to electricity, as to keep the level consistent. Anyway, it was fun, and the moon car part was nifty! -DWXX.

thank you for the replies, i'm glad to read some reviews about my level. @deadwingxx: first, thank you. "Also, you should probably change the fire to electricity, as to keep the level consistent." actually everything was about electricity at first but i noticed that first part of the game was too hard for people and made them give up, i changed 2 things to fire because of that, so thats the reason there is fire in that part. but i'll change the background of the first part, but i'm not sure about fire part especially at the place before third checkpoint ? your words are true but you know there are many people playing this level, not everyone is gamer in core, they are just enjoying or letting their children enjoy lbp ( i met 6-9 years old kids more than teens or adults, i like to watch them sometimes so sometimes it should be simple for those people ) i appreciate any feedback, thank you again deadwingxx

It was pretty good for a first level but it felt a little random. I don't know what the second part felt like it because I agree with deadwingxx with the changing the gas and fire to electricity, especialy if it's called electricity town but there were definitely some good platforming in it. :star::star::star: Pretty good job though.

thank you dragonvarsity. I changed first parts' fires to electricity but next time i'll change gas parts to electricity too, thank you. but still, in "just watch" part the fire at the end of first slope will be there, it makes you jump, electricity kills...

Really nice first level mate. You've shown a good grasp of the basics. Try using the grid next time to make things like your stairs more even. Well done on completing your first creation.

thank you TheAdipose. I changed every trap to electricity with deadwingxx and dragonvarsity's recommendations ( which were true ) except "Just Watch" part since the point is making you jump automatically (not kill you ) and changed the first part's background too ( but now thinking maybe i should have changed all floor instead background ? ). and you are right about grid, i just recently learned how to use it and i'll use it from now on. thank you all for your feedbacks, i appreciate your help.
