WE'RE BACK EVERYONE

I'm about to watch the new episodes of Futurama, has anybody seen them?		2010-06-25 03:51:00

Just got done watching them. Not bad. The second episode was better than the first.

The only problem is that they are expecting new viewers, so it's not as "in-depth" as the old series. Still excited!

The first one wasn't really good, but still watchable, it seems like it wasn't meant to be funny anyways, that episode was probably made just to throw everything out from what happened in the last episodes all at once so they could continue like nothing ever happen, you know?
"Giving an explanation why they act af if nothing happened" per say.

And the second one was the first actual episode, and i gotta admit, they still got it!

Oh man i'm so glad they didn't go and mess it up, i thought it was gonna be crappy, but thankfully that wasn't the case! 		2010-06-25 09:42:00

I liked both episodes, they still have that same feeling of wackiness that made Futurama great. Though I admit that I liked the second more, if only because of the greater number of Sci-Fi shout-outs and Zapp's ridiculously overdone gambit.2010-06-25 17:23:00

I agree on preferring the 2nd episode more, but I did like zaps quote at the end of the first one, when he comes sliding out

I'm the same with you here! I suppose I kept frowning at the prospect of Zap and Leela together. I want Fry and Leela to be together lol. Though second ep had some very funny parts. Professor Farnsworths thinking globe thing was a classic moment too, sooo good xD

Well, it's aired on a cable channel here called Comedy Central, where previously it was on network TV. Not exactly certain it'll be exported anytime soon, but may as well keep an eye out for it.

I just looked up about the new episodes in the UK. Sky (the network here that has the license to broadcast Futurama here) said they wouldn't air the new episodes and I never feel confortable about illegal downloads. Excuse me while I just...go over into that corner over there...2010-07-05 12:39:00

The new episode was pretty good, nice idea. The new series haven't really made me laugh out loud likes the old series did, but it is only the beginning, still hope yet.2010-07-16 09:36:00
