Fathership BetaHallis68
http://teigens.no/vjt/fathership.jpgThe level title is the inverted from Mothership Zeta from Fallout 3.
The level is a short plat-former with too much decoration (overheated) and is about you getting teleported inside the alien ship and you have to stop the aliens from launching their death ray at Earth.
May sound a bit crappy, but i can ensure you its worth playing^^.
This level also have a sequel survival called "Fathership Beta Death Ray Survival" that I also have an post for.
Please gief feedback!

I'm gonna try playing it soon, it looks amazing. Mothership zeta, fathership beta, it rhymes. The survival challenge looks awesome as well. I'll try giving feedback later today.

Update: I just tried it and it was amazing. I loved how you made some of it float away like the doors. And it wasn't just basic. You definitely put a lot of work in detail yet you still had a good amount of platforming. And what I love is how it wasn't just go right situation but going around the place to get on the roof of the spaceship. I wish there was a boss, but I get how it would eat up the thermo with what you added. Plus enemies could've been a bit more detailed like with faces but that's okay. It was very easy but fun. Too many good or great creators go unnoticed so you should really create more, the spaceship was nice. I give it a :star::star::star::star:.

Short and sweet, just the way I like I like 'em. Good visuals, and some very well done platforming made it really enjoyable. I liked also how cinematic it was, the death ray was cool, and the the map with the target, was really great! At the end too, with the pod flying back down to earth was amazing!! Not many bad things to say, except at the beginning, you used "weren't" instead of "wasn't" because you were referring to first person singular. I didn't notice anything other than that though, good job. :star::star::star::star::star:2010-06-24 20:18:00

No, it's okay. I haven't made any levels yet but I've been trying to make one. Besides, it doesn't say F4F so I shouldn't expect a review back but thanks for the offer.2010-06-24 21:28:00

Thank you! I will be playing your level the next time I log in.
And yes I?m very bad at grammar and I see now that people do notice my mistakes.
From now on, I will check my mouths thoroughly!

I just played your level entitled Fathership Beta and loved it. I like the humor of the title and thank you for translating the Alien Language into English b/c that would have been very confusing otherwise. I was thoroughly impressed by the flickering hologram effect, (how did you do that?), and the whole look and feel of everything was pretty wicked. And I definitely had an ooh & ahh moment when that plasma ball gun was tracking me, well done sir!

Loved the hollogram effect and tracking gun.
The re-entry effect of the escape pod was amazing
Loved the objectives and visual detail of the briefings

Suggestions

Lower the ceiling and zoom out the camera in the part when you are on top of the ship dodging asteroids.
Make the two doors, (which float away in an awesome manner), more obvious objectives. (I flew past several times)
Even though the level looks GREAT, I think a little less white and more lights would really help

Congrats on the level, its a good one I enjoyed it. :star::star::star: <3
