According to Joystiq, EU players that subscribe to PS+ (PlayStation+, the new PSN premium service, in case you've been living under a rock) will get a free, downloadable and KEEPABLE copy of LittleBigPlanet. http://www.joystiq.com/2010/06/23/european-playstation-plus-subscribers-get-free-littlebigplanet/ In other words, if you cancel your subscription, the game will still be yours, unlike all the other freebies to which subscribers will have access. This is according to the EU PS Blog entry found here (http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2010/06/23/playstation-plus-explained/). Users must sign up between the 29th June and 3rd Aug for the 1 year subscription to get the content listed. Discuss!

i paid $60 for this and the Euro's get it FREE!!!!!!! Nothing's free, mate. You have to sign up for PS+, which is the new premium PSN service. On topic, it's almost desirable just to never have to use a disk again. That said, I am cheap and do not qualify as EU, so I'll pass.

is true you know what this means, come people do the math with me LBP+ 30 or so updates= 1-2 hours of downloading :eek: it will be better if they already come with the updates

30 updates... been there, done that. Only last week, as a matter of fact. Just turn it on and go do something else. It's nice to see someone picked up on my suggestion on this forum to make a DLC LBP. It would be nice to switch between LBP and whatever I'm playing at the time without swapping discs, but is it worth 50 euros...?

Takes me bout an hour and twenty. Minutes to install the updates. Another thirty minutes to download all the DLC. And I don't even have all the DLC.

My LBP disc was getting scratchy and non-working, I think I'll sub. But I have a REALLY slow internet connection, which means maybe 1-2 DAYS of downloading
