Am I the only one in Ontario who didn't feel the Earthquake?!

All my friends did, my grandfather...

I didn't feel anything.

Also, ditto about the FaceBook statuses.

Haha, I've tried it some months ago here in tiny Denmark. It was kind of shock at first, I could see the wall shaking, stuff moved and made noise.. It was just around where I live. First earthquake. And that sound - groooooummm, it was kinda crazy. I looked and my brother and we were both like, what the heck was that?! We ran to our parents and guests and asked if they felt it, they didn't. But they could hear the noise. Facebook status updates went crazy as well I can't remember how high it was on the scala, but apperently the highest in Denmark ever, I think..2010-06-23 19:43:00

No we're not, but the town in Quebec where the quake originated from is. Also, even though you're not on a fault line, you can still feel it if you're within the quake's radius.

I have to say though, that it was a little freaky when the Quake hit us here in Ottawa. I was in class when it hit and our class room is located in the basement of the mall. Kind of a weird and cool feeling though.

Actually sometimes you can't classify an earthquake as even having a radius, depending on the movement people right next to it wont feel it, depends on which side of the line you are.2010-06-24 22:47:00

I was apparently kind of half awake when it happened. Felt nothing, but the cats went bananas. I just assumed they'd been at the catnip again.2010-06-25 10:07:00

One time we had 2 earthquakes in 1 week and I didn't feel either of them. I was so annoyed. They were very mild, no damage was done thankfully.2010-06-26 14:05:00

I have always wanted to be inside an earthquake. Closest thing to it is when I have pointed at the sky, looked at my finger, while spinning around for a quarter. Ohhh, the dizziness 2010-06-26 14:58:00

I still remember the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake. Then when we finaly got a TV signal the the first images of the Bay Bridge having a section collapsed scared me and my sister since my Mom would sometimes take that bridge home. We lived in Fremont at the time. We lost a few book shelfs worth of stuff. My Dads place in Santa Cruz lost about 4' of yard distance from the house on one side cause it fell to the roadway 10' below. The aftershocks where fun too.2010-06-29 21:08:00

id swap that for earthquakes rather than 7 months of winter with -30 degrees Celsius constantly during the winter

I can't remember being in one, but I do know I have been. It must not have been a bad one because I think I would've remembered it. We don't really feel too many earthquakes here though... Every few years, we'll feel one in the fault line near St. Louis, I believe.2010-07-07 03:25:00
