http://i49.tinypic.com/335bcw4.jpgNOTES: Do not close text boxes, they will close by themselves. Also note that the Music Pack 1 is required to obtain the board.
This is a music board I made a while back right after I realized how impractical my "Music Island" system was (it was a bunch of separate speakers...so yeah, annoying to search through, annoying to carry, ect.). So when I made this board, I took all the notes on what I like to call the "LittleBIGScale" and placed them onto one board of dark matter for maneuverability while creating.

It's hard to see in the picture because it's so small and low quality, but there's pieces of cardboard hanging off the dark matter labeling each note and octave. Playing the level will tell you how to use the Music Board, and I certainly hope that some of you find use in such an object. I plan to make some music levels myself by using this Board (and I've already made a few and scrapped them, but I've started anew, which is why I made the board itself available to everyone else).

Just leave a comment on the level telling me to check out any of your music levels created with or without the Music Board, and I'll be happy to check out the level. Thanks for playing (that is...if you play. xD)

Wow, so you assigned notes to the music objects!? That will help me defnitly, because I am horrible with musik, so if have a short melody with notes, I could replicate it with your box? That IS pretty cool. Can you give a hint on how much thermo the genrerated melody (like 10 sec?) will use?2010-06-21 23:11:00

Well it's not a music box. xD It's a board that has a all the music notes in LBP. What you do to use it is copy the speaker (after obtaining the object from the level) and place it onto whatever you want. I use it to place speakers against a wall for music levels, then hook up a mag key to each one. I haven't examined the thermo usage myself. I assume it's just as much as any other music level. The idea is to just make it easier to place notes as well as have accurate, reliable pitches (since the bar is a slider, it's tough to figure out which notes is which. This is why I used a guitar tuner to find the notes).

I assume a 10 second melody however would only take a VERY small portion of thermo. I've made a few tiny music melodies of some Banjo-Kazooie songs, and they take little to no thermo.

EDIT: Can a mod move this to the object showcase please? *facepalm* I totally meant to put it in there and I screwed it up.

Great, I just called it musicbox, it'll work like a charm in create. I asked because I never did music, I won't make a whole song, but having accurate notes is gives me the chance to do asomething in this direction.
