Good idea. I downloaded it recently but haven't managed to do anything with it yet. Every time I try to open a picture from my PC it opens in a different window and I cant figure out how to work on it or how to get it into the main window.2010-06-21 20:16:00

I've used GIMP a little, downloaded it fairly recently, you need to save it as a different file type, at the moment you're just saving it as a GIMP file, it really depends what kind of picture it is to decide what you should save it as, I just know it needs to be .gif for an animated picture.

I create a pic just like the one in the first comment it is not animated. So which file should I save it in GIMP XCF image, Alias pix imaga, autodesk FLIC animation, bzip Archive, C source code, C source code header ect... which one?

Didn't realise this thread existed, otherwise I would have posted it here for you all to use! That site also does a photoshop version of the tutorial if anyone wants it.

Good luck y'all!

Keep trying you do not know how many time I had to do it lol

just look at the pic in the site carefully. Also if you want the pic big like mines I use this

http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z16/wncruzer/GFX%20Tutorials/LBPtut1.png

instead of the width being 350 use 600 is better is you want it my size. Also if you want the same distance from the letter inside the letter use this.

http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z16/wncruzer/GFX%20Tutorials/LBPtut7.png

Grow selection use 6 instead of 10 because 10 is to big

I hope this help you.
