bluetooth support?

It most likely will be because you have to remember that the game is having to do with a team, so they would have to talk to each other online to tell each other "alright sack boy you do that, and i'll do this, and ginger jumps above the thing, then we'll be able to get through" like that, you can't play multiplayer and just figure out what to do without talking, i hope i made sense2007-07-04 11:41:00

Yeah, it should be coming. I would think so for sure. Working together is such an important part of the game. Although I think I might get the most fun playing with friends on the same PS3.

warhawk is an awsome 3rd person shooter for the PS3, and it comes with a bluetooth device that is recommended for voice chat. So yea

I thought you all should know that sony is working to have voice chat run through psn. much like how voice is run on xbl.

theres little detail but from a few rumors it will be lauched as part of the update that will come with HOME. and since lbp will come after home its a fair bet that psn voice chat will be up so no worries		2007-07-10 01:31:00

the only other option beside bluetooth is pre-made, or chatting with the onscreen keyboard, which can be switched to a USB keyboard. So I am sure keyboard is supported2007-07-14 06:28:00

I think they definatly will have it. It would be such a pain without it.

I hope they are not just going to make us use the movement of the arms to communicate cos it would be good for come on and stop and stuff like that.

I dont know, i havn't tried it myself. i have heard of people buying the bluetooth headset but in what games and stuff it wrks in im not sure.

I think that you can chat over the net without a game. Just by having a friend you chat to them by connecting through your profile. Then you are talking and can decide what game and where your going to play and stuff.

Ok now I'm confused. Why would the games need to support bluetooth. Doesn't only the hardware need to do that. I mean obviously they would have to add a talking thing, but does it need to be specifically bluetooth. Can't I use a USB mic like my old PS2 one?2007-07-18 05:07:00

I dont think the games will have to support bluetooth. The games wont have to support voice at all. The playstation will run the chat in the background i think while you are playing. Then you are still connected when not playing.

I dont think it matters whether you use a bluetooth headset or USB. It's personal choise i guess. I would rather keep with the wireless idea. Whats the point having a wireless controller if your head is tied to the PS3. LOL Funny mental pictures. 		2007-07-18 05:13:00

I just assumed it would be like a PS2 game where you can join a game staging and talk to the other people there, and once you have enough people the host can start the game and then you can talk to the people in the game with you.

And then if you aren't in a game or whatever, you could just talk to any other PSN user in a private chat or whatever.		2007-07-18 05:18:00

I think that would work out a lot easier.

My idea would make things really difficult when you want to add new people and have to quit out to add them then come back in.
