1. Everyone already knows.

2. I thought there was only 12 months?

But seriously, that date is likely to be just a guess...

I have to agree with Doopz479 because we already know that and I think the date is only a guess they need to announce it

All the videos I've seen have Alex saying "It'll be this year!", without further specifics. But I could be well behind on my videos, so...2010-06-20 18:37:00

Considering Mm aren't even sure when LBP2 will be released, I'm thinking the date was used as a filler.

The US uses the MM/DD/YYYY date format as well.

The date's a filler date. All the dates from retailers are filler dates that haven't been finalized by anyone. After all these years people still don't understand Mm doesn't know when exactly the game will release.2010-06-20 22:22:00

comon guys, i siad "i hope its official" meaning that would be better, i was never absolutly positive. i did think of the fact of it just being a filler, you never know, it could be. im just pointing theese thing out for people who havent noticed, if u did see it, then thats great. oh, and i dont care much for my spelling, i use alot of internet slang cause im lazy(just online) ill get the link for the e3 gamplay vid :]2010-06-20 23:55:00

What you say on Gamestop is called "a place holder date". The release date is not announced, you cannot trust the placeholder. All game stores are working like that, with placeholder dates until they get the confirmation of the REAL date.

I would say however that it gives you a ballpark though.

We've known about dynamic backgrounds since the announcement trailer, and the date is most certainly a "filler date" for the time being. I did a quick search and Walmart, Barnes and Noble and GameStop all list the same date. But, until there's an official confirmation from Sony and/or MM, I'm moving this thread to the Speculation and Suggestions subforum.

Thanks,

Yup, filler dates shant be trusted, sometimes even when the company says a date it might not be trustworthy- anyone remember Super Smash Bros. Brawl?2010-06-21 01:58:00
