BFBC2 Demolistion man Trophy [PS3T]liamdaniels
I made this level for a competition (didn't win :[) It's based of a trophy in BFBC2. This level is very easy to play and i intended it to be, so if you leave feedback, please comment on what I did in the level and not much on what I could have done thanks (I did it in a week so it was kinda rushed) Thanks for playing and I'll be looking forward to feedback, good or bad

As requested, here is some feedback. Here's a few things that could help improve the level:

Your introduction text bubble has the word "hyperfermia", I believe you mean hypothermia. Similarly, at the end you have "soilder" instead of "soldier."

You have a combination of visible and invisible switches, it seems rather odd that way. Typically, people choose to either make everything visible, or not visible, half and half looks like you tried to make it all visible, but missed several.

The explosion scene was actually somewhat cool to look at, but the building itself was not. Adding some hin layer covers to mask the explosives would help. Placing the explosives around the area instead of in the walls would also help. Little C4 satchels wired up together would look much better than just the bombs stuck in the floor.

Yeah as I said, this level was for a compeition and I left it until the last couple of days. The building was done in about 16 minuets lol, I'm not a very experianced LBP creator (maybe you could go in online create and show me?) What did you give this level, considering it was built in around 3 days, a rating out of 5? 3 would have been nice, but judging from yourfeedback its a "needs more work" 2. And yeah about the switches been visible, I had global setting for lighting low so I couldn't see xD Thanks for the feedback though, it's very much apperciated. Any levels you want feedback on? (My level might not look like I know alot about LBP, but I actually know a lot ) Apparantly it's a requirement if you post F4F level Again thanks for the feedback.2010-06-21 17:02:00

Just played this tonight:

+ Like the tight camera in the labyrinth underwater and the mask with the sound effect was a nice touch. There are some pich black areas that a player has no way to navigate other than luck and at that point they're running out of air. Perhaps consider some low lights in those areas or adding a bubble machine halfway through the maze. Just seems a little unfair that it's more luck than skill to get through that last part.

+ The jumps on the iceburgs were fun. Right before that there's a checkpoint you drag the flashlight too and then if you hold the flashlight you can't go right anymore. I'm betting it's a layer issue but I can't be sure since the sponge blocks my view to the right of the checkpoint. maybe a magic mouth saying it's bright enough to see without the flashlight so players know to drop it?

+ Cute motorcyle. I did notice in the house and a few other places that you have some extra verticies on things. Practice using the corner editor a bit and you'll be able to get rid of those extra corners for a more polished look.

Thanks for the feedback! I guess I got a bit carried away with the underwater part, I played-tested it atleast a 100 times so I found that bit easy after a while, I'll take your advice though. And yeah that was meant; with the flashlight, but I guess again there's me getting carried away, and also once again I'll take your advice

Also, I thought taking the lighting down a notch would make the building a bit easy on the eye, but maybe I'm just gunna have to do it the hard way XD.

I liked your "Tron" level by the way, very imaginative. Maybe I'll construct a review for it if you want Again, thanks for the feedback, thanks alot for the 3 stars.

Feedback time!
-Nice helicopter but the ejection cutscene isn't very clear. you could zoom out on the camera during the drop and entry.
-The entry to the beginning of the level seems broken, and ts not smooth. its not really exploiting the level when you are thrown off the edge into the water, plus all you need to do is walk left and there you are "exploiting"
-The stickered secrets seem a bit out of place to me, it detracted from the plot of the level, since you are taken off course to do so (In my opinion).
-the underwater tunnels are difficult to see through, but this can add to the claustrophobic effect (turning the lighting up may be good though.)
-Lack of air in the underwater tunnels prevents further exploration, but does make put the pressure on and makes it more exciting.
-you could block the path out of the water with something other than a yellow sponge. looks out of place.
-i liked the motrobike, but the explosion over the bridge was forgettable
-nice flaoting platforms near the motorbike. i didn't grab the "grab this" thing so i don't know what was up there
-as said by burnvictim, you could hide the explosives in the house, but the explosion scene was good.
-lacks story or direction.
-demolishing the houses...why?

overall good effort, solid 3 star.

If i think of anything else i'll let you know.
For F4F can you play my spelunking level and mention ay problems, or play whichever level you want.
