In my current project, I'm trying to make a drawbridge. It stays up until you grab a key made of dissolve, so it disappeares once you grab it. My problem is, I can't have it so all it does is go down once, and stay there. Any help on how to do this?

Put a mag key on the block of dissolve, near a mag switch set to directional, and connect the switch to whatever controls the drawbridge, and when the dissolve vanishes, the switch will trigger, and cause the drawbridge to move to its second position and stay there.

Is the key a permenant switch set to directional? If not, add a mag key to the key and place an inverted directional key switch connected to the drawbridge opening mechanism. Edit: ...Which is exactly what Aya said...

very good point, so far I'm a noob at logic switches, but I understand them most of the way, SackFadorea could use the logic pack to help. I was maybe thinking about using the method from Skate to victory, with the two winches and a easy puzzle but switches are more smoother gameplay flow.
