The premise is simple; whoever places the best caption on the provided LBP image wins! The caption could be a thought going through the characters' heads, or something the characters are saying, or even a short story leading up to the picture! It can practically be anything you want, as long as it's clean and abides by the forum rules. NOTE: Humor is the only way to win! Each round a new picture will be posted and you have two weeks before the thread is locked for judging. Once the next round commences, a new picture will be posted, and the winners from the previous round shall be announced. Image editing/manipulating (Photoshopping/GIMP-ing) is allowed. Awards will be handed out at the end of the round, usually on a Saturday after the 2 week time limit. At that time, the image for the next round will be displayed. Post the pictures on this thread, there will be no gallery section but they will be archived when the round is over. Image needs to be around the same size as the original for legibility. Smaller ones will be accepted, but if they cannot be read and you cannot fix your entry, then it will be horribly hard to judge and probably will not win. Hey guys can you use GIMP 2.6 to create this? You can use anything you want that can add text to the picture. In fact simply putting it on photobucket, you can add text to it. Paint will even work. It's more about the caption than the fancy graphics. Just be sure and submit a pic close to the original size. In other words, don't make it tons smaller.

By attachment, does that mean a pic with a url on this site? Yup.. Usually doing so makes it horribly small and usually illegible besides it defeats the purpose of making a huge HD pic in the first place. You can host a photo at several places like tinypic and photobucket for free.

Well.. some have been horribly small as they output it from their editor smaller to begin with. If I can read it's fine, but up until recently it has usually been a choir for me to archieve on photobucket as they didn't read the attachment as a proper image link. No worries...

Thanks for all the great entries! I am going to be out of town all day tomorrow and since I can make up the rules as I go, I am going to hold the contest open till July 5th at Noon -5GMT (EDST time). This will give you all a bit of extra time as well as us to hopefully actually create a new caption set!! ...yeah, we haven't started on anything!!
