Small Infinite Life Checkpoints
Archive: 14 posts
Does such a thing exist, or did the glitch where you can shrink checkpoints get patched before the update with the infinite life version? If it does exist and somebody here has one, could you please send it to me? | 2010-06-18 23:16:00 Author: Ungreth Posts: 2130 |
I don't have one but it does exist. | 2010-06-18 23:17:00 Author: JspOt Posts: 3607 |
Use the capture tool to capture the infiite life checkpoint. then put it in an emmiter, before placing were it emits from shrink it. | 2010-06-18 23:19:00 Author: robotiod Posts: 2662 |
Stick an infinite life checkpoint in an emmiter (emmited with an infinite lifetime), and while you're arranging where you want it to be emmited, you can shrink it. Then, capture the newly emmited, smaller checkpoint, stick it in another emmiter, and repeat. At between two and six repetitions, you'll probably end up with a checkpoint the size of sackboy's head. This technique works with any kind of object, including all checkpoint types. | 2010-06-18 23:21:00 Author: Incinerator22 Posts: 3251 |
^ Wht they said. (What? no point in repeating the same thing over and over right? ) | 2010-06-19 00:01:00 Author: Silverleon Posts: 6707 |
I've got one - catch me online and it's yours. | 2010-06-19 00:12:00 Author: Morgana25 Posts: 5983 |
Thanks all, I'll try out the emitter trick and if I can't get it to work then I'll take up Morgana's offer. Does the trick work with paintinators and tetherless jetpacks too? | 2010-06-19 15:16:00 Author: Ungreth Posts: 2130 |
it works with anything, it only gos so far but if you need them really small you capture the small one and put it back through the emmiter making it even smaller. | 2010-06-19 15:21:00 Author: robotiod Posts: 2662 |

Yes and the scuba gear too which is how I got the tiny scuba gear in my speargun craft in my 'Voyage' level. | 2010-06-19 16:18:00 Author: mistervista Posts: 2210 |
I have a level showcasing some large and small things with prize bubbles in it. My PSN is Schrader4, feel free to look at it. | 2010-06-19 18:46:00 Author: GreatWhite000 Posts: 673 |

Like, by using the emmiter trick, you could make a car smaller than you normally could by tilting and shrinking it (but you'll eventually lose detail.) | 2010-06-19 22:29:00 Author: Incinerator22 Posts: 3251 |
Thanks, I've been wondering how to do that, because, a smaller checkpoint allows for more level design, but more so, I've seen in Poms, the Bunker 2, how did he get the vents to be checkpoints? | 2010-06-20 17:14:00 Author: ninjaSpence21 Posts: 50 |

I'm guessing he put vent decorations on the checkpoints to cover them up. | 2010-06-20 20:48:00 Author: Incinerator22 Posts: 3251 |
I'm guessing he put vent decorations on the checkpoints to cover them up. Yeah, that's exactly how I did it in Sackboy Proves He's Got Stuffin'. | 2010-06-21 10:50:00 Author: Ungreth Posts: 2130 |
