S.A.C.K: Mission One

Mkay, so this is just W.I.P right now. As S.A.C.K (Specialised, Armed, Controllable Killer), you go on your first mission to shut down a nuclear weapons factory. I'm trying to think of ideas for the enemies, which are coming very slowly.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Also, what would you rather see: Good shooting, good puzzles, or good platforming?

One thing to remember is that enemies that just stand still and shoot are not fun to kill. I see way to many levels with enemies like this and it bores me.
I only have 1 enem idea: An enemy that moves back and forth above you and shoots plasma out of two places and you have to stay between the two "columns" of plasma. There could be shooting or no shooting involved. That's all i got. And if you don't use it im using it in my level.

I had some enemies made already, but they were made of phail and not very fun to kill.
Instead, i'll focus on platforming and throw in a few larger, boss-like enemies
