LittleBigPlanet 2 Video Interview

http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2010/06/14/littlebigplanet-2-video-interview/

The announcement of LittleBigPlanet 2 is some of the best news we?ve had here on the PlayStation Blog. You can?t wait to see what Media Molecule come up with and they can?t wait to see what you do with it. I?m just thrilled about the whole lot!
I recently visited their new offices and caught up with Alex Evans and Mark Healey; check out the video below to see what we spoke about.

While I was there, the team had invited the best LBP creators in the community to drink lots of energy drinks, eat barbecued food and spend 24 hours on LBP2. How cool is that? We?ll hopefully be seeing the fruits of that mass create-a-thon here on the PlayStation Blog very soon.

There's not much new info in this video, but interesting anyway

nice, i really hope they make some way to prevent spam levels to destroy lbp2.

they are aware of the spam levels, right!? i sometimes wonder why they havent made any sort of mention of them in their blog or similar because ignoring the spam levels would be like ignoring the fact that a seagull just realieved itself on your nice and tasty ice-cream*.

* weird metaphore, dont know where it came from...

It has already been mentioned that there will be a way of customising the your cool levels pages to suit you, which will hopefully give us a way to make the spam levels disappear, but I'm not sure how it's going to work yet.

I thought at least categories for levels were confirmed? So you can un-display "*-survivals", right?

I understood it so that it would only allow you to hide certain categories. But I'm hoping it goes a bit more in-depth than that. I doubt it really though.

Sounds like some of our friends had a bit of fun playing with LBP2.

i really hope we get some un-official videos of gameplay from e3, they usually contains some goodies that MM has not yet fully described.2010-06-15 06:54:00

I got it from IGN (I think) last night, can't recheck due to webfilters

Judging from what I posted yesterday, seems to be at 11am Wednesday... I'm not making any promises though

Yeah, according to this ( http://uk.e3.ign.com/2010/live/index.html), the program schedule on the right hand side says that the LBP2 demonstration is at 11:00am PDT on Wednesday, which is 7:00pm BST.

Also, here ( http://www.1up.com/do/feature?cId=3179772#wednesday), there is a live walkthrough of LBP2 with 1UP on Tuesday evening.

The games on the IGN timetable are just when some IGN reporters sit down with the devs and have a quick chat with them while playing the game, or while the footage we've seen plays on a screen. You should expect the 1UP one to be the same. Regardless, I'll probably watch them both!

I think that might be last year's schedule because Gears 3 was shown at E3 and Ubisoft's conference was yesterday.
