E3 is almost here and this year promises to be one of the most epic ever so I am absolutely sure most of you are excited about the potential announcements. So at the end of the day it's all GET HYYYYYPEEEE!

MS hold a Conference for Natal now called Kinect they faked alot of it take a look at this, unless Natal can sense what you're doing before you do it.

Well I think that's a given, but what could it be??? LBP2 is gonna be a big title for Sony, so I'm sure Sony are going to go all out and I can imagine LBP @ E3 is gonna cause more than a couple of asploded heads around the world 		2010-06-14 11:30:00

I hope they showcase Castlevania Lords of Shadow at Sony's conference... They said they were focusing primarily on the PS3 version, so I hope Sony decides to showcase it. And yeah, it just looks awesome. <_< >_>

And of course LBP2, can't wait to see what they reveal for that Though some people may know...

They've announced four big titles in the last few weeks. LBP2, KZ3, Infamous 2 and MotorStorm 3. Which leaves me worried that the entire show will be completely focused on 3D gaming and Move.

In terms of LBP, I think we'll see someone using the Move controller in create mode and at least one of the new power ups.		2010-06-14 14:26:00

All right, E3! That would be like heaven for me, I have always wanted to go to it. Sadly, it's just invites only, for game journalists and such. I know they had an open for all E3, but I think they stopped it, because of the not so big popularity as the normal. Bah.

I am definitely looking after LBP2, that's my main focus, maybe a new wii game which looks cool, like the Zelda coming up, where they have released just this one pic to show us, along with Infamous 2, Last guardian, some move stuff, hopefully bodycount and brink too.

Well enough Microsoft bashing, last year SONY got the cake for best E3 presentation (at least that's what everyone says and i agree) i wonder hwo its gonna be this time!
(Well with one foot behind with the delay Microsoft's better be impressove, that or change the name from Kinetic to something else...)

I am a total Sony loyalist, so you can't imagine how I felt after the Kinect multibillion feature failure.
I had a WBBB.
And you won't want to know the meaning of the acronyme.
Really.

Not mentioning the obvious Sony games...
I totally wait Vanquish, I was totally blown by Bayonetta and I love Japanese way of doing games, so I'm excited for Platinum stuff.

Can't wait to see what Kojima is doing with MGSRising, and my dream is the Mass Efect series announced or PS3.

Lastly, as a Criterion fan I wait for their game, even if it won't ever be the often mentioned reboot o the SSX series.		2010-06-14 18:28:00

Well, sofar it has been a lot of PR language and topnotch fps and tps shooter action. Rising was they only one impressing me: free sword cutting and colon ripping. nice :-)

Now they've got some asian girl advertising Kinectimals. Notice how most of these games are pretty much in the same generic, casual collection as the Wii.

Well arkei seems to think there is a completely separate LBP2 thing on Wednesday, which is not the same day as the Sony Presentation. I was wondering where he got that from... If LBP2 is separate I'll probs not watch Sony's thing live, just watch it later.		2010-06-14 20:10:00

I absolutely love Japanese character design.

LOL the Kinectimals part had me laughing. MGS Rising doesn't look bad, I really like the slicing mechanic, although I didn't understand the "cut and take" thing, is that something to do with the gameplay? Because to me it was just cut, cut, cut, cut...

Overall I think that the conference started off pretty well, but the only exclusive ip's MS have are shooters. Also the blatant acting had me kinda annoyed, especially where the EPIC games guys were trying to act surprised by their own game when a monster jumped out or something. Also, with Kinect I cannot help but think how badly this thing will fail.

Kinect will sell like cookies, but people will get bored in max 2 weeks.
So it won't fail for M$ pockets, it's only a fail for true gamers.
I would ask for 2 more buttons on the pad, and M$ decides to completely eliminate them.
That's awkward for me.
Still, anatomically speaking, people doesn't know that making excercises in the wrong postures, in the wrong way strains your muscles and can be a VERY bad thing.
So if people wants to be fit, they should better get out of their homes, hopefully get full reaths of fresh air and move their limbs properly, and not running on the spot, that is the most awkward thing I've seen in ages.		2010-06-14 21:59:00

I don't watch E3 Conferences, it's too much talking and not enough gameplay. I dislike the kinect or whatever the hell it is but way too many people bash on one another it just provokes more hatred. In my opinion, heard it was a failure but I didn't have any high hopes for it from the start so no suprises from me. I do like the new Xbox 360 though, fastest WiFi out there with a 250 GB all at the same price of 299. Kind of mad I just recently bought my 360, could've waited a little longer.		2010-06-14 22:09:00

Let's be honest neither Sony or Microsoft care if your depressed because you bought a bad game, they want your money, they don't care if you stop playing after two weeks, the fact you bought it probably made a lot of cash for them, of course having a better game equals more DLC you'll buy and buying the sequel, however the Natal (or Kinect) probably won't have a sequel, the fact people will buy it more then enough.		2010-06-14 23:36:00

well i just finnished watching ms confrence and i have to say i hatted it through and through(and i dont say that because im a fanboy). they pulled every stop to not seem bad so let me break it down the way i saw it.

opened up wright away with cod blackops.( getting everyone excited by showing what they wanted)

acouple of game anouncments and reach(again making everyone happy with what they want to see)

then the meat of the presentation about kenetik:spellingok sorry i have to whine at this. why the name change. natal was a great name. original, catchy and overly a good name but kanetik why is everthing a adverb now. move, kentik , wave. it unneeded) so theres the good houre of my time and they pulled every stop(little kids, action games, whomen, sports flashy affects. they did it all to keep everybody hapy at what they see)


then the only real anouncment was the 360 mini witch i know will fail(thats another thread)

Dead space 2, crysis 2 (in 3D), sims 3 for consoles, EA sports live broadcasting stuff, Madden 11, bulletstorm (really cool FPS imo) and then star wars the old republic
I may have forgotten something... Oh yeah EA active 2 on wii, ps3 and 360.

Well, its pretty obvious EA was way way way better than Microsoft. I havent played the first Dead Space game, but the second looks amazing. I only got to see the end of the Crysis 2 presentation because I had to do something on LBP, but it was amazing what I say. Sims 3 consoles was well..the PC version's gameplay basically it seemed. The sport games were a waste of my time, bulletstorm seemed epic, and I loved Star Wars. Ive wanted to play this MMORPG since I first laid my eyes on it..2010-06-15 00:21:00

Quick opinion about the games.

CoD: Black Ops is great, no news about it. I think it will be the best CoD so far.

Gears always impresses me, too bad I won't ever buy a console only for a game.


I already said about MGS: Rising...great character, Kojima, wonderful Japanes styled game. I must say that I found the camera a bit too close to the character, and I expected a more quick gameplay, since the game is subbed as a Lighting Bolt Action.

Need For Speed: Pursuit seemed a little bland gameplay wise; I have never been a NFS fan, except for Shift, and I hoped that Criterion would have delivered something better than a long straight line...it didn't seem neither technically awesome nor fun.

Dead Space has been one of my fav games from 2008, and the second has really a lot of potential, but I think that the devs didn't picked the right section to showcase and the playthrough, as Riccitello himself admitted, was a little awkward.

Medal Of Honour multi seems a lot of fun, but I don't like multi in FPS, even if I'm interested in the campaign.

Crysis 2 showed a lot of potential, and like Cevat Yerli mentioned, the game has lots of ways to playthrough.

Bulletstorm was completely over the top. It did impress me A LOT!

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier proves to be very interesting, maybe more than Splinter Cell; I wasn't interested in it before seeing actual gameplay, but I was sold with the gameplay and the artistic direction.

Driver San Francisco spawned in me an interest that is almost less than 0.

I didn't care about AC: Brotherhood, because it was said to rely on multi, still the trailer and the gameplay bought me even on this title. Ubi has added more action to the arsenal of Ezio, so I hope the controls won't get worse than the mess they already are, please please please Ubi, made them more responsive.

lol the star wars thing looks like a cutscene the guy was trying to imitate. The dance thing looked really fake, the character on screen was giving it so much oomph but the guy "dancing" wasn't. The fitness thing I saw at the Microsoft and Activision briefings and it looked almost too similar, the only difference was the woman lost 3" in height apparently! I really don't buy it, something looks off and automatic about it all. Not that I play my 360 much these days but I highly doubt I'll be getting Kinect unless I see some actual games using it well. Also Kinectimals sounds very silly to me, doesn't sound nice when you say it O.O

Really hope today is better because it wasn't very exciting yesterday. Although that shouldn't be hard to achieve at all.

Holy crap. They've got Zelda, Kirby, Donkey Kong, Epic Mickey, GoldenEye, and even Kid icarus. I don't think anyone else will be able to beat that much awesome stuff. And they've still got 2 more hours, there might be so much more.
