is there a ps2 memory card slot on the ps3? never tried before but im wondering2010-06-14 04:02:00

Uhm, i don't think there is... but i'm not next too my PS3, so i can't be sure And, you may want too change the title, something a bit more specific, i usually just put in the description if i'm not sure if it's the correct section :32010-06-14 04:36:00

No, there's not. The PS3 is not backward compatible for PS2 games, so there's no need for a PS2 memory card slot.2010-06-14 04:37:00

There ARE some PS3s with backwards compatibility, they're not being produced anymore, sure, but those that do are still out there.

Tho you can make internal PS1 and PS2 memory cards, just go to "Memory Card Utility (PS/PS2)" you'll be able to creat them there.

Now if you wanted o pass the stiff from a PS2 Memory card to a PS3, you're gonna need a PS2 Gameshark (That's the only way i know, and the only way i've done it.) There's a feature in the gameshark that lets you pass save files onto flashdrives, which after passing it to the flashdrive you can copy it to the PS3.
That's the closes thing i could think for to answer yer questions.
