Red Faction: Armageddon

Archive: 1 post

I heard that this was coming out the day before the trailer was released, and I waited all the next day to see the trailer. It looked amazing, and somewhat like Deadspace 2 In my opinion. If any of you want to see it, here it is:

Some Info I Just Pulled From The RF Site:
The Story Section Of The Site Says This:
"When survival becomes your daily routine, you can't rely on guns alone. Guns run out of ammo, they jam, and they're useless against a creature born with armour plating. I need something extra, something that weilds power that they can't counter. With this device I can obliterate walls or even turn invisible. They never see me coming. Beneath the surface, nanoforge is my best friend"

The Nano Forge Section Of The Site Says This:
"A family heirloom with a storied history, the NANO FORGE has been passed down from one Mason to the next with one purpose: To keep the planet safe. Now in the possession of Darius (who I'm assuming is the character seen in the trailer, and who you'll play as throughout the game) The Forge's nanotechnology has evolved to give it's user a range of abilities that could only be described as 'super human'"
"Safety is just across the underground chasm. Unfortunately, the bridge is destroyed.
Not a problem.
Repair fires a swarm of nanites that attach to man-made material and reconstruct the damaged portions. Within seconds, it's good as new"

I have no idea whether the game will have the same sandbox environment as Guerrilla did, based on the fact that according to a developer, "80% Of the game takes place underground"
What do you guys think? Did anyone of you buy/ like Red Faction Guerrilla? Looking forward to this? Liking the new direction it's taking the series? Discuss.
