Hearting Spotlighted Levels

Archive: 8 posts

I didn't know where to put this since it's like half question, half suggestion.

First, question: Is there a limit to the number of hearts an account can give?

Next, question: On a player's hearted levels page, do the most recently hearted levels show on the first page, and does this continue through the pages in reverse chronological order?

Next, suggestion: Making an account to heart all the spotlighted levels and creators.

Last, question: Would this be of any use to anyone? I know that if I wasn't the one planning on doing it, I would find it very useful.

No, I am not fishing for creator hearts or whatever, trophies don't really mean anything for me. I would do this on an account specifically created for this purpose. I just think it would be kind of handy.

If this has already been suggested/is already in use somewhere/I'm an idiot, do tell!

Thanks!

Oh yeah, so I already started, if for no one's benefit but my own. Going through the creator spotlights first because that's much much easier.

I've heard that there is indeed a limit, at 999 hearts. But I have no idea if that's true or not lol. I wouldn't worry about it, you should be able to heart to your... um... heart's content without getting close to that number.

Yes, I think.

Next, suggestion: Making an account to heart all the spotlighted levels and creators.

You mean to use this account as a sort of play list? I know it's been suggested in the past, that an account be made that does this sort of thing, be it through showcase levels each week or something. A heart page specific to the spotlight would make it easier to find levels in game, but I dunno how many people would use it lol.

Yeah, that's what I mean. I'm kinda bored enough to go through with it even if no one ever uses it.2010-06-10 14:42:00

I think you can have 30 levels on each page of the hearted list, and they start disappearing at page 15. That's 450 levels for those of you who are too lazy for math.

Anyway, I always just go to Morgana25's hearted list, she always seems to have hearted the latest spotlighted levels.

We've talked about this before

https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=20381-Community-Spotlight-Episode-29&p=359526&viewfull=1#post359526

I had an account where I tried to do this but there are only 10 pages of hearted levels each account can hold at one time and as you add more to them the old levels drop off. I didn't think that was fair and since every ps3 can only have five accounts on it, making multiple accounts on my system isn't an option. I have many if not all the spotlight levels on my hearted list so feel free to surf that for easy access to spotlighted levels.

Actually you can only "download" from 5 different accounts, but you can have as many as. you want you just can't download stuff from them.
(Which you really don't need to dowload stuff in alt/ dummy accounts as all accounts share all DLC on has.)

I myself have made multiple dummy accounts, along with some alternative and back up accounts, so you can indeed have more than five per system.
The only problem is coming up with the info to make them.

Just wanted to clear that up.

About the idea:
I'm not sure how many people would use it tho, and i mean why not simply look for the levels in the level spotlight instead tho?

Well, it's easier to access through a single hearted page, rather than searching for each level individually.2010-06-11 01:43:00
