Archive: 2 posts

Hi, I wanted to share some music that I found to be very creative and could be described as artwork. If you have any, please share them. I want you to think went these songs made you think when you listened to them or how they made you feel and share them below. And please, let's not have any internet trolls (description below).

You should all be familiar with this song by now.
Sleepyhead: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zherMkcXd

A very happy song, it made me think of flying.
Super Mario Galaxy 2: Fluffy Bluff Galaxy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QMKoGyh3fBM

This has to be the most epic Mario song around.
Super Mario Galaxy 2: Final Boss: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2GHF8icAXI

And finally, a song that fit's the title of this thread. It had me imagining of a war and uprising.
Killzone 2: The Second Helgast March:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4OZv3RgHAhg

Hope you like these, leave your comment below on what thought about these and tell me what you like more, MovieGame music or BandRadio music. Thanks very much. Have a good day.

A Internet Troll is somebody who leaves bad comments like fake and g*a*y. Trolling is where somebody creates something that seems to attract Internet Trolls in purpose. Anyone who watches Equals Three on YouTube should know this.

Anyone who watches Equals Three on YouTube should know this.you make it sound like a bad thing that i have noooo idea who or what the hell equals three is.

Anyway.

Passion Pit is pretty great, I'm going to go see them at the Mann center in Philly soon. Should be a fun time. Do I get some indie cred for knowing the song before the trailer? Yes? Pleassssse

Mario music is generally fantastic, and the scores for the Galaxy games have definitely been no exception.

That Killzone 2 song is pretty generic though, I think.

'Band/Radio music' usually beats out movie/game music because the best game music is somewhat subtle. I wouldn't really listen to most songs outside of their respective games. Music made for music's sake, however, is actually made to be listened to alone, and therefore has the upper hand.
