Eh. It looks like the same thing as the iPhone, really. It is open-source, but the iPhone is pretty close with the new Apps.

Theres a new iPhone. G3 or something with a 3. I'd rather spend my cash on games/accesories/big plasma screen/surround sound etc. Thats just me..
(Off topic- 50" Plasma 1080p only $999.95 CDN, oh LBP just got better!)

The new iPhone is 3G, which means it's faster. I'd have to get the EDGE (original) iPhone and unlock it to use it w/ T-Mobile. My phone's busted, so I have to get a new one, but it's too early to get one at a discount. So, I either get a crap phone from T-Mobile for $100, or a nicer, unlocked phone for a little more, via eBay or Craigslist. Unfortunately, even older iPhones aren't cheap.

I have a first generation model jailbroken (hacked) so I have a ton of apps that have increased the functionality of the device by quite a bit. I haven't updated to the newest firmware yet to check out the app store, but I probably will soon.

I would say that if you're ever out and about and are always thinking to yourself "I really wish I had internet right now" then the iPhone is a must buy. It has the best internet of any phone right now, and the fully featured google maps application has made my life so much easier. Plus, the iPod functions are top notch as well.

Oh, almost forgot: Emulators!!!!! NES, SNES, GBA, PSX, Sega Genesis. I would die if a didn't have this phone at my boring *** job

Sorry for bumping such an old thread, but I finally got one. Absolutely love it. Incredible piece of machinery. In fact, I'm posting from it.2008-08-03 02:56:00

Derp... thread over three years old... derp.

There is also no iPhone 4Gs or 5Gs. Currently the roster consists of the 8GB iPhone 3Gs, the 8GB, 16GB, 32GB Black/White GSM model and the CMDA model.

Did I mention this was an old thread...
