scary level!
Hi all!

First my presentation, I discovered this site playing community levels in LBP, and discover here a lot of recomendations and fun stuff to play, really interesting, I'm a platform game lover and an old school gamer ; )

LBP is new for me!, I play it for two months and at the moment, to me, is THE GAME!

This is my first level in LBP, but I'm working now in a second level named "Problems in Sabana" that I would like to be more puzzle oriented that this my first level : )

Some sackys say me that is hard to play, I'm trying to make the level a little more easy, and change the bosses behaviour, at the moment I think that v1.2 is playable and not complicated, but exists opinions to all : )

I would like people play the level, and say me what they change, and if it's hard o no, and off course I appreciate your interest and all your opinions : )

Not to bad of a first level. Though it was a bit difficult and I was unable to finish it.

Ups:

- Really good first level
- The use of back tracking in the level
- You had a good themed level

Downs:

- The elevator should not keep going up and down( I suggest using a PERM switch. so when a sacky get in it goes up and stays up)
- After the elevator when you start using the paintonator the large blocks of dissolve material seem out of place, mabye you could change them to fire or paint over them
- You should really make that obstacle shorter because it got kinda of repetitive and hitting R1 that many times in a row starts to hurt your finger
- (Same area) The target should really be thicker so it would be easier to hit them
- ( The part I got stuck on) Where it say "Remember: do not jump on the slime red" or somthing like that. It is confusing because I had know idea what the "slime red" was because it was all red and every time I jumped I died. So yea you should really fix that and make the "slime red" more visible

Overall:

It was a darn good first level and I am willing to play it again once you fixed the part I mentioned. I rated :star::star::star: because I was unable to finish. Good Job!

Thanks!, The idea is create a level a bit hard, not impossible off course ; ), perhaps in future version I made it more easy : )

Ok, I'm thinking about this, the problem that I have is that I would like to active the elevator with a button... maybe a I can make and AND gate to add a PERM switch ; )

Good advice!, Fixed in v1.3, I paint the dissolve material with red... off course.. FIRE! ; )

Fixed in v1.3!, I change the shots to dissolve materials to 5... I hope this can be enough! ; )

Well, English isn't my native language, for this I try to explain that you can't jump over the slim red floor, I don't know if in english is the correct sentence... and off course thanks for the advice about all red, ok, I fixed this to get red only the part in wich you can't jump... I try to make this to do a little joke ; )



Overall:

It was a darn good first level and I am willing to play it again once you fixed the part I mentioned. I rated :star::star::star: because I was unable to finish. Good Job!

Hi!,

First sorry for the delay in publish a new version, I was on exams, and now.. I'm free! lol

Ok, I'm thinking about problems to finish the level and fix several things, here, I try to explain as clear as I can what I change ( sorry about my english) ;-)

Whatsnew in 2.5?:

Changes:

General "Friendly" artwork.
Well, I think the level transmit so scary ambient.... like real skulls for example (lol)

Bubbles with ropes.
I like the way it looks ;-)

Elevator behaviour.
I like the Newbie312 comments about the elevator behaviour :-) , for this, I added and AND gate and a grab material in elevator, when you turn on the power and you grab in elevator, the elevator turn on ;-)

Jetpack sections.
I change the jetpacks sections, to make it a little more easy using flame material more thin than previously :-)

Climb section.
I change the climb section, when you start the second race, in which you need to climb a large section with gas material on the floor, well, exist players that don't have so much abilities to pass this part climbing this large section, for that, I add a temporal system than turns the gas material for a time with a sound alert, then now you can stand on the floor until you hear the gas sound (hahahahahaha)


Minor Changes:


Piston added on the last little evil in the beginning.
I replace the rope for a piston and a grab sensor that shows better the way to continue ;-)
Platform added.
I added a platform in the first section in second part, after the elevator, that turns on when you blow up the explosive material to make more easy to continue ;-)
Advise in "slim red floor".
Well, I don't know if in the future I delete this area...., I try to make here a little joke, ... if you jump on the slim red floor you die, but I put some bubbles (lol)... I like this part... but some players said me that don't understand this... then... I use a ROFL sign in this part (LOL)
Final "Boss".
I finally change the number of shoots to kill them, and left only 3 of the 5 final monster...mmm I think I really like to change this part, and use only one big boss with some puzzle ;-)


Things I want to change:


Final Boss.
Like I said, I would like to cahnge the final boss for one bigger and a little more puzzle oriented ;-)
Cameras.
I really need to change cameras in some areas
Music and effects.
Need to use more sound effects and music behaviour ;-)
