My SackBoy has back problems?

I hadn't noticed this until yesterday when one of my friends pointed out his sackboy was taller... My SackBoy is oddly hunched over, and I can't find any way to undo it. I even tried restarting my PS3 and nothing worked. It just looks odd and it makes it annoying to put stickers on myself for costumes.2010-06-07 19:41:00

Hmm...

Unless I can get it from the PS3 directly to the internet, I can not. My camera is broken. If you want, you can sned me a friend request and come see. Also, I switched my controller to player 2 and made it a guest user, and I was normal. In that case, I don't think it's my sixaxis.

Edit: OK, got it. If anyone wants me to, I can get another one comparing me to a normal sackboy.

I first noticed when my friend had pointed it out. He was showing me the elevator he modeled after the one in LogicPack. I thought nothing of it and only clearly noticed it later when I was trying to make a costume. As for the preset costume thing, at this point I think i've already tried everything. Try holding on toa really fast spinning object?

That usually seems to stretch sackpeople beyond normal, so maybe it'll work.

I don't have another controller. I reassigned my controller to spot 2 and it spawned a normal sackboy.

It is called the Naux Glitch (http://forums.littlebigworkshop.com/t5/PS3-General-Discussion/New-Glitch-The-Naux-Glitch-Any-solutions/td-p/214122). Its reason is unknown, but probably has to do with corrupted data. You're only the third time I've heard of this.

You most likely have to roll back your data to a previous save version before the glitch happened.

If I reassign my user I can't play as Infernox. Atleast I don't think I can...

no. your 2nd controller still has all your costumes.

I don't know if the character itself is glitched or just that one slot on the controller. I'll try assigning player 2 as Infernox and see what happens. I had it as a guest before. Nope, as long as you're signed in as that acc you keep yer trophies no matter what, remember that once you Synch your Trophies to the server they're saved in the PS3 servers too and not in your console only. 2010-06-08 00:30:00

Yep. I remember James showing me this in OC. It was so strange, I couldn't even speculate as to what caused it.

It might be worth contacting him to see if he ever found a solution. He has an account on LBW, but doesn't visit it very often. Best best would be to send a PSN message to his PSN ID, and ask there. I still see him online fairly often, so he ought to receive it. I'll also ask him next time I see him online.

His PSN ID is the same as his LBW username, i.e.: JamesDNaux

Something you can do without losing any data is to try reinstalling all the LBP updates - I forget if James tried that or not. Let me know if you're not sure how to do that.

I was frustrated when I had to restart, but I was laughing when I started up the intro. "In LittleBigPlanet, you're a little sackperson."

This glitch seems to have claimed another victim :c And I was hasty in backing up my profile, so now I can't go to a previous save. I went into my LBP Water/OC Beta file, and my Sackperson was perfectly normal, so there's hope for me yet once November 23rd rolls around and I move everything to LBP2...I hope :'(2010-06-23 07:53:00

Yea, I'm wondering if there's a way to clear your cache so you have to re-download the updates. Try clearing, ignoring the updates and seeing if sackboy is fixed. If he is, download the updates and hopefully he'll be ok. If he's not, maybe you'll be stuck with Hunchsack forever. 2010-06-23 14:27:00

When in shallow water, he doesn't stand like normal, but swims as if he was in the deep.

When at the surface, the game thinks he's still underwater. Meaning I can still drown at the surface, I can't jump out as high as normal, and I cant see him doing that cute doggy paddle.

We need to give them a ramp like boats get so they can be put in and out of the water safely,
We need to make our bosses smaller,
and have the enemies run away not chase them,
we need to refer to them as Sackboys/girls even though they are a lesser species,
We need to stand up and fight for their rights

I think I have a solution.

It took 5 minutes of research and 82Billion Dollors in american Taxpayers money but it is so crazy it has got to work.
I spent lots of time on this diagram so don't laugh.

As you can see on the left is our midget Sackboy, attached is a dark matter motor bolt, which we will rotate 90 degree and pause.
We then have midget sackboy in a position like on the right,
We bolt two board one on either side of him, we set the strength to 10, the then put dark matter blocks 5 meters either side of him and set max and min piston length to 0.
We remove the dark matter motor bolt and unpause.
If all goes to plan sackboys back will be fixed (or he will be grossly taller)
This will nedd two players since it will be difficult for the "naux" Sackboy to do anything while he is being Tortured Fixed.		2010-08-19 09:23:00

Are you sure that you havent pressed L3 so you can move your body not your head so wen you hold controller normally it hunches over press L3 and seee if you move your head try it

I can pass through theck but I don't have back problems (neither does my sackboy).
I am a Thexman as KernelM would say. I guess this is some form of mutation in the Thex gene.

I think Tommy means RockBandHero has acquired a Naux save and is willing to break more people games to an unstable, corrupted game which may have unknown devastating effects to other elements. I guess some people just find it funny when somebody elses game is broken.

MMhmm, which means, no matter how much you want this glitch people, don't do it! Just contact Spaff so they can gather more information and patch it quicker. It is a gamebreaking glitch, I don't see anybody here who still wants the wheel of death?

I wouldn't call it a stronger variant, just a profile that has been corrupted further than ThecX corruption. It might not be tied to ThecX at all. You may have had it before and hadn't realized it. Or whoever has been giving the save out had it as well. If this is true, whe they fix Naux, ThecX will be patched as well.		2010-09-02 19:10:00

Well, the person I know that has the "Naux" glitch is Thecx too, and it sounds like most, if not all short people are Thecx. Also, I'm pretty sure Thecx-ness doesn't transfer to other people when copied. TehMonkeyBlade uses a backup of my profile, and he's not Thecx. Maybe people with the Naux glitch should try backing up their file to another profile on their PS3, and see if that file has the glitch...

Most likely you've had TheX and Naux (wow, lucky. )
I've indeed met a few people with Naux that have no TheX simptoms, so perhaps people woth TheX are likely to be Naux as well, or vice-versa?		2010-09-02 20:13:00

As much as I remember, I've been having ThecX problems since I got the game.

Spawning behind checkpoints in those really old "Cool" levels and such...

Can Naux glitchers pass through smaller gaps? My view is: If its possible, it could open up gameplay possibilites. For example, people could have naux on another user, so they could open up a new controller and use it in a level (this, of course, would require the ability to cause Naux, rather than import it, for which there is currently no method)2010-09-04 10:14:00

This is incorrect, I've been TheX since the beggining, I know as I've spawned behind checkpoints when possible as far as I can recall, I even have one thread to proves I've had it for AT LESAT a +year (and already had it long before I'd made that thread.):

Regarding being able to pass through smaller gaps, I doubt it. The hitbox of a sackboy is a square that it slightly smaller than 2x2 on the small grid. In the case of this glitch, it is the same only in a lower position.2010-09-04 12:18:00

I hadn't noticed this until yesterday when one of my friends pointed out his sackboy was taller... My SackBoy is oddly hunched over, and I can't find any way to undo it. I even tried restarting my PS3 and nothing worked. It just looks odd and it makes it annoying to put stickers on myself for costumes.

Hey, idk if youve tried clicking down on the right joystick or not. That might be too easy of a solution. I know that the wireless controllers have the six axis in them, so when you tilt the controller it either tilts your sack boy's head or body. I don't hold my controller perfectly level, so I'm either staring up at the sky the whole time or I have bad posture. Lol. Well, I hope that helps. Better avoid reviving threads or whatever people say. Check the last post's posting date.
It's a glitch (I encountered it too), you can't fix it. Mm said that they maybe found a cure for this and wanted a few profiles which have this glitch.
