You can change that in the "General settings" of your "account" (go to your "Settings" page)

> Number of Posts to Show Per Page : you can go up to 40 posts per page...

Hope this helps

Number of posts per page in groups

You can't do this with groups, just thread posts....

So it could be useful to have I guess....

I've just checked the source code. The max posts per page seems to be a global setting, so any changes would apply to all groups. I'm still hunting down where the setting can be changed from, but in the meantime...

If changing the setting will affect all groups, then we need to decide on a new value which everyone's happy with. Discuss.
While reading the source, I noticed you can override the default posts per page by appending a query parameter to the URL.

For point #2, the query parameter name is 'perpage', so assuming you want 20 instead of 10, add &perpage=20 onto the end of the URL.

Edit: Found it. There's two options in the vB registry...

gm_perpage (currently 10): default number of posts to show per page
gm_maxperpage (currently 50): maximum number that you can override to with the 'perpage' query param

...so we can easily update it with a suitable value once it's been agreed upon.

I say the default number of posts you'd find on a normal thread.2010-06-08 15:16:00

...which is 15.

Okay. I've added a poll to the OP. Vote away.

Good idea Aya! Can I suggest you try as many different posts per page before voting, using the way Aya said.

Otherwise you might vote, then realise it's actually not enough/too much.

Well, 15 is clearly not enough unless you love clicking the next page button. 2010-06-08 19:12:00

Okay. I've taken an average of all votes cast so far, and rounded to the nearest multiple of five, it comes out as 25 per page. I'll leave the poll open for a while longer, as it's trivial to change the value later on, but I've just updated it to 25, and we'll see how it goes.

Yes, thanks for the adjustment. 25 sounds like a much more suitable number.2010-06-10 05:28:00

Two weeks later, and it's still averaging at 25, so I shall close this poll now.
