Who remembers the glorious games of rayman?

Archive: 13 posts

Well, who does?

I got rayman 2 for pc when i was about five and shortly after i bought the first game, although i cant get the sound to work.
anyways, we all know that rayman 2 was an awesome game but the first game doesnt get that much attention, all its obscurity is really nothing that should be forgotten in the midsts of time! i still play it once in a while and marvel at its colorful sorroundings and wonderful music.

Who cant love fricking robotic pirates with guns for hands!

Great games, especially the early 2D versions, the more recent ones are Ok, but I'm nostalgic, I prefer the oldies, such as the old Crash Bandicoots etc.

I must say though, in one of the 3D generation Rayman games, those zombie/ghost chickens scared the absolute Bejesus out of me.

Oh you have to experience it at least once, it was a great game. I'm sure you can get it on PSN, not sure of the cost, might even be free.

i believe that ubisoft has briefly mentioned that they might make a new platform-adventure rayman title when they are done with the whole rabbids thing.2010-06-07 18:10:00

Loved rayman, have 1 to 3. I just really hate what they did with the whole rabbids thing, I remember seeing the first trailer for it before the wii came out and it showed all these dark evil bunnies invading, which somehow got turned into a party game that wore out it's welcome...

Always loved the humor of the games, and even though people say that the 3D raymans weren't as good, I loved them equally.

Holy Moley hi Jack.

Hm, really don't understand what gave them the idea that Rayman needed to be changed, just like the old Crash Bandicoots, they were fine the way they were.

Rayman 2 was one of the first games I ever played on my old PS1!

Yeah, me too! I remember it was a level where you had to go to some weird graveyard place, with zombies trying to pull you into coffins and such. Also, big massive spiders .
