LBLHS-Sewage Mayhem

Hello everyone here is my new level call Sewage Mayhem. This level is a score challenge level and it is for the Little Big Land Create and play contest. Collect as many score bubble as you can before time run out and here are some pics of the level

Update: I know the level is repetitive and lacking danger that is because of the glitch that happed to me with the emitter of the level. The score bubble just stop coming I wound put danger into it but like this is a contest level they say I cant re-publish the level

Bad news guys I loose the contest but dont worry because im entering another contest

I like it, but the starting point could be closer to the challenge. Once you get to where you need to, there's not really much to it. Maybe you should add obstacles of some kind? I dont have the pack that lets me use water so i dont know what works, but maybe some balls that float up that are dangerous that you have to avoid. The movement in water is slow as well, so maybe a few more places point bubbles could spawn would make it more fun. The level looks very nice though, good work on the visual design

Thanks dude for all your suggestion but I have a big problem I think the rules say that I cant re-publish my level once is publish I think I will check on that. I played your level few hours ago now
Level looked pretty good, lots of stuff here and there, but you could add some lights, because it was pretty dark and I didn't see a much.

Thats you for the feed back but I think I cant put some dangerous objects because there was a strange glitch wail I was creating the level. here look at this thread it explains the problem with the glitch https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=28204-Emitter-score-bubble-problem!

Hey Arnaldo!!

I played your score challenge level and I enjoyed it very much. It was very relaxing and beautiful. I had a good time swimming in the environment you created and chaining together bubble combos under the water was a blast. I loved the sunken boat in the background and the little fishes at the beginning were a nice touch. I hope you make more levels soon, just PM me and I will gladly give them some plays.

I gave you five stars and a heart and a heart for creator too. <3

Overall, I'd rate it three stars. Although it was fun, and your timer was VERY impressive, I wish there could have been more danger or obstacles. It seemed a bit too easy for me, and repetitive. But if you added a few things going up or down every so often, like mines or pufferfish, or some sewage-related things, it'd be fantastic! It could also use some lights, maybe green or glowing. Overall, it's good, though.

Wow, I'd like to see the logic behind that timer! But I will try to play this soon. Judging by the video, I agree with TheZimInvader, that the level seems repetitive and lacking danger.

Dude!! I cant believe this! I was on LBP right now and i went to this thread to see which level u wanted me to play... and me and my cousin have already played this... about 10 times! lol! Sooo yeah... sorry took so long to give you feedback.

I think its really fun. It is a nice simple timed challenge, and that is good. It isnt confusing so people can get in there and play right away! I love the scenery, especially the broken ship in the back. It gives it a great feel. and the sewage pipes are great too.
I gave it 4 stars and a heart!!

Btw I beat my cousin... Hahaha

Oh, and out of all the LBLHS levels i played, yours was the best!

Really neat underwater score challenge! Visually the level was awesome. It looked great! The concept was simple and fun. I thought the game should change some though as time moves on. maybe introduce some hazards later on in the challenge. Or if you want to avoid using hazards, have different types of bubbles appear (Ie one of the pipes suddenly springs a leak for a few seconds, and bubbles coming out increase. or use the prize bubbles, which are worth more points) I noticed the black things that you could grab for a large point boost but there were only 3 of those in the entire duration of the challenge. a little added variety could really make this level shine.

Overall I think it was a great score challenge, and was very relaxing to play through. I rated it 4 stars and tagged beautiful. thanks!

Thanks dude for the kind words on the level and yes a lot of people said that I should put hazards in the level but I cant thanks to the glitch wend I was creating the level and I cant re-publish anymore because the deadline already pass.

I'm going to have to agree with what others have said. Visually a very nice looking level and the overall experience comes across very polished. It really does need hazzards...if the player has to work to survive the entire duration they are much more likely to replay to survive longer/improve their score. Without that motivation, even though it's a good looking level I can't see myself playing it again...it really is a pity you can't make changes, the level has potential. OK so on my notes page I put,

Likes
-I liked how hte level looked, the visuals were very good
-I also loved how you put an intro in the level PROPS
-I liked how you set the mood in the level by making the water green and making your own slime

Dislikes
-there was no challenge there were creatures popping up here and there every once in a while but most of the time I was just floating on top of where you make the bubbles emmit.(but maybe because it was that emmiter glitch you were talking about, that could easily be fixed)
-I didn't think that players would be challenged when you make the bubbles emmit in one place only so they could just float there and wait for the bubbles to float up while dodging sea creatures everyonce in a while.


Suggestions
-I suggest using LED lights tweaked to green to give it a more "SLIMY" look, they're great for setting the mood in a level

-also if possible make the bubbles emmit in different places because that wouldn't be much of a challenge when you know exactly where the bubbles would float up.

-fix the emmitter glitch maybe? you need enemies to dodge!

over all I gave it 5 stars and one heart! great job on the level!

Thanks dude now I have an idea in what I need to fix and what I need to improve on. Thanks again once the competition is over I will try to fix everything.

PS: im making another level that you will really enjoy and it almost done

Interesting survival challenge. The collecting points is fun and the pipe design and decoration really gives you the sewage feeling. Despite the lack of hazards and slight visuals, it was as a fun as the other survival challenge like this in POTC level kit. By the way that was a great countdown clock. Did you made that? 4 stars
