All rise, AT LONG LAST the Round 36 of the Caption Contest is now in session! Sorry for the delay, but a week off was in order!! Sorry to say I was horribly ill last week as well as really busy with the Creator Spotlight stuff. Plus later this month I will be out of town and there are probably going to be some other delays. Plus it gets a bit hard creating new sets and pics after awhile!!

The premise is simple; whoever places the best caption on the provided LBP image wins! The caption could be a thought going through the characters' heads, or something the characters are saying, or even a short story leading up to the picture! It can practically be anything you want, as long as it's clean and abides by the forum rules.

NOTE: Humor is the only way to win!

Each round a new picture will be posted and you have two weeks before the thread is locked for judging. Once the next round commences, a new picture will be posted, and the winners from the previous round shall be announced.

Rules: NOTE new rule below!!! see last one in red

Only two captions per user (you do not have to post both at the same time).

Image editing/manipulating (Photoshopping/GIMP-ing) is allowed.

Awards will be handed out at the end of the round, usually on a Saturday after the 2 week time limit. At that time, the image for the next round will be displayed.

Post the pictures on this thread, there will be no gallery section but they will be archived when the round is over.
Image needs to be around the same size as the original for legibility. Smaller ones will be accepted, but if they cannot be read and you cannot fix your entry, then it will be horribly hard to judge and probably will not win. More then welcome to get with me to give you help, plus I have a handy how to up above!

Awards: (currently being tallied further below since XP is not available due to site upgrade)

Winning Caption -the best caption gets this. [250 xp]

Second Place - second best caption. [100 xp]

Third Place - third best caption. [50 xp]

Consolation Prize - this award goes to the caption that didn't get an award, but was still very good(this may not be handed out every time). [20 xp]

I sat that one out but I may be back for this one so "be afraid, very afraid" !

BTW jww I don't know if it matters but when I copied the picture and looked at the properties I noticed it's titled 'Caption Contest 35' instead of 36. Just thought I'd mention it.

LOL NO kiddin? Well... ignore that. I may replace it to rename, but it will still be the same pic. Maybe just name yours accordingly. Thanks for the heads up!

The building in the new photo looks very realistic!

I have to credit TheCountessZ and her incredible gift for architecture on this weeks set. I didn't do a thing except think of something funny for two sacks to do in the pic. This set was 100% her and I have to say some of the coolest stuff I have ever seen in LBP. ...and I'm not just saying that because she feeds me dinner.

Photoshop can pull in a PNG file as well as save back to a PNG. In fact that is where I last tweaked it.
