I figured, since going off topic is somewhat annoying and against the rules, Lets have a thread with no true topic

Okay, so I just ordered a skin for my PS3 off of Decalgirl (http://www.decalgirl.com/) and am looking forward to it arriving. Has anybody here got a skin or know of the quality of Decalgirls skins? I heard they were the best so thats why I ordered from there. I chose this (http://www.decalgirl.com/browse.cfm/4,12544.htm) skin with 2 controllers..

And, I know its a little early, but I was thinking of doing a sort've secret santa thing within LittleBigPlanet with user-made items and random active-user pairing (Throughout the forums). Would you guys be up for this?		2008-07-26 20:19:00

Nah its a stick on thing, but apparently, no fade no residue and no goo(on removal) Also makes your PS3 scratch and dust resistant.

Secret santa is a term not often used in England, so maybe I have the wrong idea of what it means..

Basically, all the active forum members, either at xmas time or soon after the game is released, gets a name. This will be another active forum user. You should keep the name you get a secret until the exchange takes place..

Uhm, Then everybody creates a cool item like a vehicle or a hat or something, that you are going to give to the person who's name you got. You will also receive an item from some random user.. I just think it would be nice.

Couple flaws; Users can't remain anonymous at time of gift giving
Not sure if you can give an item as a gift, I think you can, but we may have to make alternative arrangements.

So what do you guys think now?

Back on the topic of skins, I prefer SkinIt for skins. A little more expensive, but they work great. Got one for my laptop. Of course, I'd do this, if I were going PS3:

kinda, a name is given to you, you don't choose. And the item isnt really random made.. :s you should make it yourself and put abit of effort into it Don't like the idea?		2008-07-27 11:23:00

I like that idea for an X-Mas event, I don't think it'd be that great RIGHT after release though, don't you have to play a bunch of levels to acquire some materials? Or am I in the dark and you just have all materials on start?2008-07-27 11:55:00

No, you are given some materials at launch, but not all. That way, if you want to create stuff, you can, but you'll make better levels if you go through the premade levels first.		2008-07-27 12:08:00

The idea is that if you have a load of people in say a office instead of having to buy everyone a present, everyone gets one present from a secret person.
It would be hard to do this on here as how would you pick who gets who and eventually when you would give the LBP item to your secret santa it would tell them who it's from lol.
