Heavy Rain Costume/Sticker DLC Inbound for Next Week! 8th/9th/10th June

"Time to get out your trilbies, the Heavy Rain Costume pack hits the LittleBigStore next week! Five costumes and a set of stickers based on characters from the PS3 Thriller, including Madison, Jayden, Shelby, Ethan, and the Origami Parajita with a great big red jam stain all over it, sticky!
The Heavy Rain Costume Pack will be available next Tuesday for North America, Wednesday for the UK, and Thursday for the rest of Europe."

The costumes in this pack are great for those of us who don't care to dress up as superheroes, animals or crazy Japanese-looking whatsits. And, this will be excellent for the upcoming Sackbots in LBP2! If it weren't for this feature, I would have no reason to buy any more DLC... but now, I'm buying all the crap I could potentially use for the LBP2!

Normally I wouldn't be excited for costumes, but these actually have hair that I could use. Yes, hair. Have you noticed how LBP lacks "normal" guys hair?

And, as I said a millionth times, Mm should cross-promote a new DLC for every game that is supposed to sell well.

The first time I saw them, I said "Are you kidding me?". I mean, no one wants to take characters of a very mature story and put them in a platforming game. And the worst part is... I'm gonna have to buy them for my level, potentially for sackbots.

I remember the time when people said costumes were completely useless, now there's pretty much one of the most important things in you level.

P.S.: I should propably make a MotorStorm-themed level sometime.

Woah, I didn't know it was Tuesday...

Buying it now.

EDIT: Most stickers look like they would be useful for creating level icons or making a creepy point-and-click level. I found an amazing window sticker the would work very well to add scratches to surfaces, as part of it's transparent, unfortunately, it's a two-pane window, and the bar spans across the middle of the sticker.

There's also a lot of creepy face stickers, everything is in black and white, except the cop car sticker has red lights and other small details.		2010-06-09 01:05:00

Plus, it's fun to sticker the JAM piece of the origami.... Paritiaitiaitait....

Your PS3 has been made 3D capable with firmware update prior to that last one, so I don't think these two thinks are necessarily related considering that the four 3D capable games just need to be updated or downloaded in case of the MSR 3D demo.

I somewhat agree. I really like the hair. The sunglasses are pretty cool too, and the rest is ok. I have no use for the .... I'm not gonna' try to spell it: the bird, but it's funny and whimsical so it's cool they added it. I was surprised the pack was six bucks, though. Three hair-dos, two pair of pants, four tops, one glove, and a pajorichita for six bucks? Wouldn't be too bad if I had a use for any of the stickers or the perjury bird thing. hey i'm just glad Mm is showing all these naysayers that LBP can have dark and gloomy games as DLC too....

seriously it annoys me when i get an awesome idea in my head like Demon's Souls Costume/Level pack and people go "that wouldn't work for a game like LBP" like if LBP is for little boy scouts or something

this DLC is a message for those naysayers...and the message is "shut up....cuz Mm can make it look good for LBP"
