Vengeful Gods punish the world by removing the Life Prism that brings color to all. You are tasked with venturing to the temple to return the Life Prism to the town and restore color to the world.
Hello! This is my first post here. Been lurking for a few weeks looking through tutorials and just other stages to play. Decided to post my level for feedback to help me build better stages. This is my second level. After getting the global light switch an idea hit me to make a stage where you have to switch colors. The end result was this stage. My first stage was horrible and whatever I learned from building that stage I applied to this one. I learned a lot from building this stage and applying what I learned here to an in progress remake of my first stage. Ahead of time thanks for the feedback!

Ok so first things first, the introductory comments by the foolish sackboy are very funny and made me chuckle, for a long time! the level starts of nicely with good scenery and humerous jibber-jabber made by the other sackfolk. at the area with the swingy ceiling I felt that it was a tad too hard towards the end. after reaching the end of that zone there should have been a checkpoint before the glass stairs. I got rather frustrated at that bit after failing right next to the checkpoint almost 5 times. the boss type bit with the turning room is definatly a highlight for me as I enjoyed falling from the floor as it turned into a wall etc... the bit with the turning circle with spikes on the inside is broken. I was gassed inside it about three times by gass that (as far as I could see) wasn't there and you should probably note that just before you enter it you can escapethe level boundaries by going back to the back layer then heading right. I also managed to leave the level and hit my head on the ceiling of the level (you know that ugly clothe thing MM put there) during the jetpack escape, though I'm not sure how. I liked the refrence to the greek mythology and I knew before I left the room that at some point my jetpack would break and I would plummet towards the earth. overall a great level althoughI think it could do with a few more checkpoints. 3 stars and a heart from me ;P2010-06-04 13:46:00

Super level, Buddhapunch! You know, as the Greek god of Death, I've know Prometheus a long time. I just wanted to take him down to see Hades, but Zeus just had to torment the poor lad with his pet eagle. Anywho, I digress.

The color bit is rather novel. I can't remember seeing another one that does that. I also liked the use of humor. There were a few points that drove me nuts though. I'm not a huge fan of swinging on ceilings, mainly because I suck at it. So when I got passed it and died several times on the glass platforms I really wanted a check point to prevent me having to repeat that part.

I also had the same issues as Smudge228, though I didn't have problems with the spike circle breaking. Not that I remember anyway. Fix the boundary issues and I think you have a pretty good level for folks to play.

I'd love your feedback on my Sherlock Holmes 2 F4F level. Best of luck with yours.

I was unable to finish the level Because when I got to the jetpack part (I think somewhere toward the end). I didnt see a checkpoint for me to activate then I died and I was sent beck to the checkpoint by the spinning wheel with spikes and when I tried to re-enter the jetpack area the door was closeed so I had to quit. Also you can fall out of the level when you go to the back layer next to the spinning wheel with spikes. But up until that point it was a good level. I rated it 4 stars. I will play it again later so that I can try and finishi it.2010-06-04 17:33:00

Thanks for the feedback! I did not even see the area where you can just exit the stage. Closed off the area near the sun where you could sneak out and if u even try it's punishable by death Moved a few save points especially the one with the glass platforms. Moved that one at the end of the ceiling grab area as well as moved the one in the treasure room to the front of the entrance. The stage is updated now! Thanks for the feedback!2010-06-04 22:44:00

A very fun level with good, quirky humor. Now, this part is personal only to me because I think I'm the only person annoyed by this. You gave out obvious hints via monologue coming from what is inferred as the player. You never went overboard, like many other levels do, by implanting an annoying or vastly contradictory personality. This is only acceptable where that's the entire intention of the level. But, you didn't do it much and at least it wasn't too wordy. It just peeves me a teence.

Early on in the level, the geometry is basic and nonsensical. Why would and other natural landmarks form in perfect rectangles? This gets better as the level goes on though. When I got to the turning room, it got exciting. The entire affair is extremely hectic and entertaining. Now, the end makes little sense to me. Why would a prism be circular? Why does flying into the sun lose a God who is used to being in the sky? But these're minor technicalities. When I was dragging the "prism" through the water, the elevator caught me off guard and almost squished me. It would have, had it not been for the prism I was holding. The prism got stuck underneath and I couldn't wrench it out without getting on the elevator and losing it forever, since I couldn't jump back into the water.

A fun level that seems to grow as it goes on. I give you 3/5 and a heart.

I'd appreciate any feedback on my level, Feral Tech: 90% (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=27419-Feral-Tech-90&p=476341#post476341)
